I agree! Gens 3-5 are my favorites even today. Gen 3 for the nostalgia, Gen 4 has my favorite battling metagame, and Gen 5 for the epic storyline and soundtrack! 😃

Ive loved the black and white games its the first games in the pokemon series i played and i gotta say beautiful remix my friend cant wait to see more earned sub and man does this take me back!
When you're on the champion, out of healing and revives, on your last pokemon, and out of time. I have a Luxray in Scarlet that i had caught at level 4 and traveled with her for the entire journey. When i finally got to the champion, i had completed everything else, so she was somewhere around level 70. I failed to prepare enough and had to knock out two more pokemon to win. Rose is her name, and she did the impossible. She took a critical hit at low health and toughed it out for me. She toughed out a total of 4 hits, surviving long enough to beat the champion. This song is her theme song.

Hear me out. Going on the theme of low hp, here’s a possibility broken ability that would be no fun to run into in multiplayer but would be fun in singleplayer. You know the abilities that increase the damage of a certain type of move at low health i.e Torrent. What if instead of boosting the power of moves, it boosted evasion, by like 45% or some.
Basically imagine Paper Mario Close Call Badge but as an ability.

I imagine this as me being a young trainer getting my Pokémon stolen by Team Rocket, and someone is battling the Rocket members, but having a tough time (this is gonna go nowhere so leave while you still can) and so I heal their Pokémon for them, perfect second-trainer-like. This combines the perfect amount of intensity for me with a hint of "NO NO NO NO NO NO..."
