gave me a good laugh to just pick an innocuous thing and ENTIRELY miss the scares XD
+Darrark That's an interesting part of the design with this. XD with VR it's a lot harder to plan for where the viewer will be looking, and this doesn't go as fast as reality on everyone's machine, so you can't whip your head around. So.... you just do what I did and look at the walls or downstairs and miss the scares. haha

L0udDict4t0r It essentially just turns into loud noises, right? Then you kind of pick up on the pattern and the exact noises to expect whenever something "scary" happens. The sound design wasn't really varied unfortunately :(
Uhh, this may ruin your happy/comfortable view of your "look only at the wall", or the "look away from the jump scares" strategy, but I'll say it anyway. If you intentionally try to miss the scary moments in videos like this, you'll only end up with the "somebody's standing behind you" feeling, or the "somebody's staring at you" feeling, which is like 10 TIMES WORSE! 😫
Think about it for a moment...
Personally, that's why I'd prefer to face whatever's coming, so I can just let out all of the screams right then, and feel better about it afterwards.
Btw, sorry if I ruined the positive view you had about that strategy. Lol But it's probably not too positive anymore now is it? My fault. 😄
