@@MagnetBean yeah the DVcam was a funny thing to fill that gap but it works really well! Just picked up a head cleaning tape for it so hopefully future footage will have even less audio and visual errors
@@sandybill1766 Nice, just picked up a 200 after watching this lol. Going to see if i can get away with using a capture card with S video out. Want to try doing the same with the SDI output once i have the money to dump into that.
@@MagnetBean Nice one man!!Yeah tapeless is definitely the go just be careful as I'm pretty sure it is one of those cameras that auto standby with no tape or recording happening unfortunately but see how it goes, you may have to trigger a standby reset by operating the zoom or focus ring The S video out and DV port out is a real life saver for quality this video was output via DV to an old DVD recorder but the proper way to get the full quality is using an old Macintosh or laptop with DV input
Love the vid! - what do you shoot on?
@@MagnetBean hey thank you for watching! I'm currently shooting on a Sony DSR-200p it's a prosumer shoulder cam from the late 90's
@@sandybill1766 Thanks for the info! - Didn't know sony made a camcorder to bridge the gap between their miniDV consumer models and broadcast models.
