Really pretty can you use alcohol inks also?

I have used alcohol ink on the pewter sheet, but unfortunately they do not give the same result. I put a mixture of orange and brown on the pewter and it gives a rusty look. I have noticed that alcohol ink fades the reflection of pewter sheet, but it won't look that bad. Thank you for appreciation, please.
