Yes, sadly, Tony Khan is the alpha male of AEW. He ultimately calls the shots at the end of the day. I know hearing the words alpha male and Tiny Khan in the same sentence sounds like the most laughable concept, but he's the big dog in AEW. He has some ok ideas, but AEW is like a real-time train derailment in motion. I hope he gets some humility and hires someone with some ideas and consistency. J.R. said it, "AEW needs someone to get white hot." He's right, problem is, not much TV time and 5 vs. 5 man tag matches doesn't do any favors, other than just simply being on TV that week. Gotta be consistent, nobody's going to keep their momentum going if they're taken off TV 3 weeks or longer.
If Tony acquired his wealth and company on his own then he would be an alpha male but we all know hes been given everything in life from day 1. Not alpha in my book
I like the idea Rene had a few episodes ago...about a better version of Tough Enough...where the contestants really had to hit the road...and drive across frozen lakes in the Canadian winter to get to the next venue. That show would get higher ratings than Dynamite Rampage and Collision combined. P.S. If Tony Khan is an alpha male...then Jason Sensation is the newly crowned undisputed boxing heavyweight champion of the world...lol.
