Great informative episode. Been thinking that Cowboys need to be looking at bigger DEs as well as 3-Tech. Shemar Stewart, Landon Jackson, Ashton Gillotte and even someone like Dereck Harmon who can play DE and 3Tech are all players to consider. Given its a deep draft for penetrative DTs, could see Cowboys taking a DE, two DTs and a LB alongside a WR and RB in this draft depending on FA.
So if they run a Tampa 2 Defense they will need two safeties in this draft ? Ours are not playing well
Idk how you can put bland in the category of "not a great tackler" diggs, yes he is not phyaical but bland and especially jlew (hopefully) are phenomenal tacklers

Other than billings most likely anyone else he brings will be to help coach his system.
The only realistic Expectations are that this dumbass team will continue to underperform and let down its fans

It's about execution and assignment discipline... We need to be one of the better tackling teams... Fundamentals.. Gap discipline... angle IQ... physical 1 thru 11... Diggs is a liability against the run...he has no interest in making a tackle...he allows himself to be blocked out the picture...No more Country Club Cowboys ... that culture is finished...We need hard-nosed Dawgs .. Like Jlew... Like Micah.. Like Overshown... Get younger and faster at safety...better coverage.. Draft 2 linebackers in the 5th..we have 3 picks..We Need Great blitz disguises..Jalen still panics against the blitz.. Daniels can be fooled as well...
Agree...consistently good discipline and high levels of execution have been consistent failings for Cowboys...have to hope that all the coaching changes translate into better coaching up of the players and much better discipline and execution.
Will Overshown be even ready this coming year after completely destroying his knee and will he be as explosive
