    What age do forest hinge back tortoises lay eggs

    • @twoturtletom
      @twoturtletom  2 года назад

      It’s more a factor of size than age. They’re essentially adults when they’re 7-8 inches long. Thanks for watching!

    Is there a season

    • @twoturtletom

      It depends on your species, but learning that the seasonality of your species. Turtle hormones are cued to changes in day length, relative humidity, and temperature. Knowing how these parameters cycle in their native habitats is really important for successful breeding. Thanks for watching!

      Thanks for leaving a comment my friend! I've been using these Tuff Stuff tubs for my breeding operations since 2018 and have found my tortoises do really well in them.

      There’s no any enrichment in enclosures that size for adults do you let them out ever or they just nascar that little space?

      Random things, if that is your takeaway, you most definitely will not be successful. Which species do you keep? Perhaps I can help another way? How could I make a video that would help you?
