Why didn't you go down Eastway? to go over the bridge & merge onto Portage? You drove right past it and had to cut the video & looks like you came back out of the street by A&W
Some of the absolute worst road rage drivers in Canada, but they have some of the best restaurants. Hated driving through “Confusion Corner” especially during rush hour. Used to live in East Kildonan and then Charleswood. Was posted there for many years. Worked for Brinks there too.

I've often heard that Canadians in general have nicer attitudes than people in the US

ridiculous. the distance is 9.5 km, or just under six miles. a more direct route, if one existed, would be four miles.
