Absolutely. It amazes me they were so popular at the time yet they're barely mentioned now. Personally, I think they should be ranked alongside Monty Python and Pete and Dud.
I really enjoy these sketches I think this gives one of the most intelligent English humor besides Monty Python. But are you sure you put right the titles? This is clearly Sunday film - Sword of St. Petersburg (this is the first sketch) not Let's start the show off with a bang.
