Geekyranjit The fingerprint scanner isn't much of a deal for me, I'd say its good that its not there, for a guy who's staying in a hostel, the fingerprint scanner becomes a real danger for one ;-) while you're sleeping, your friends tend to get sneaky and use your finger to unlock your phone, I'd stick with my pattern unlock for the time being....

The camera is trash, and gaming sucks. Nowhere even close to the note 5 pro. My cousin bought it because of this video and sold it in a week of usage. What a waste of money.

Why did Oppo impose that highly criticised ColorOS on it's sub brand? They could have given stock Android. The only thing I hate about this phone is it's software.

Mihir Bindal can't say the same. Given that it isn't the most good looking or less ram using ui, but in terms of features that I found on it, I'd say that it's on par with stock Android. Trust me, it's got a crapton of features, almost all of which I use daily

Realme 1 6GB ram variant is real value for money device. Go for it.. No phone is available in India under 18000 who can beat the overall performance of Realme 1.
I am using this phone for last 1 year it has been an amazing experience, the UI has improved a lot from color os 5.2 and now with color os 6.0 it makes sense. I am not looking for an upgrade soon cause it's still working just fine. Hope it lasts another year.

Naveen Medikurthi it's pretty good already. And I think they're gonna push mothly updates on everything. It's getting Android p too. And seeing the realme team's tweets about face unlock and ram management updates, I guess they're taking into account their customers' complaints. I wouldn't worry too much about any software problem in this phone, because I expect the team to push an update to fix it

If you want to buy Realme...go for 6GB version...3gb one has severe ram management issues...I have got the 3gb version...but frankly in my opinion it's not worth the money... plastic build...no fingerprint sensor....face unlock is buggy....one can unlock the device while you are asleep... happened to me twice....UI is cluttered and messy....camera is not that good... believe me.... zooming in reveals a lot of noise ,softness and lack of details...if you want a phone for just gaming then consider this...else go for Moto G6 or Max pro M1 or Note 5 pro

It depends...if apps like paytm or book my show are running in background mostly 2.... sometimes it even clears the memory to save ram... frustrating when you are on payment page....open another app for babk details...then it clears the memory...
14k...just for 6GB RAM and 128gugs storage is not a wise choice....If a phone is optimised well enough....4GB will more than enough to handle all the tasks...I wouldn't suggest the 6gig version

QuickPlay I know about this launcher nd has used it for a long time but u can't use Google launcher on this phone (realme 1) but color OS is fine I got used to it

RealMe1 is a nice smartphone at this price but its battery disappointed me a little. At a gentle use with its power saving mode it gave me a backup of approx 53-55 hours.
One more thing, On Video Calling it consumes battery too much faster, in 30 minutes with "IMO App" it consumed about 8-10% battery.
I am using 4GB RAM variant.

You've talked extensively about the 'value for money' package that you get with the 4GB variant, but what of the 6GB variant? Is it a good idea to get this instead of the Asus Zenfone Max Pro - The 4GB variant being 1k cheaper and the 6GB variant rumoured to be 1k more expensive? My biggest concern with this is the bloated UI, OS and the Battery.
No doubt Realme 1 with 6GB ram variant is powerpack value for money device. I m using this device since 27th may & i m totally satisfied with my purchase. U will be satisfied in any department with this phone.. Just go for it on Amazon. Amazon is Billion times better than Flipkart.

I have a 6-128 GB , It's a perfect phone for it's price for all those who seeks value for money device...keep in mind that you will use mobile for 2 year or max 3 years & it will serve it's purpose till then ...My only fear till now is that this product is too good & we don't find much goodness in present world,hopefully there are no bad findings. Don't think much go for it & showoff to others & make others jealous :-D

Well Friends Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 will be great and I m waiting for the 6GB Ram Variant cos It will be having Front Facing Camera of 16MP and so I would overall say Realme 1 is a gr8 phone but if u r a sort of Gaming Kind of Person and wants a great battery life go for Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 but if ur priority is Photos then go for Realme 1

Hi, I used Realme 1 for a week..worth buying it except for the loudspeaker..particularly the sound is very low when put in loudspeaker, so video calls are not up to expectation...am just wondering if none has noticed or only I experienced it..pls advise if I can go ahead in buying it again as am not convinced with the other mobiles..I had returned Realme 1 because of this loudspeaker issue..

Realme 1 has problem in Bluetooth connectivity. Every 5/10 min keeps getting disconnected n after a min or so gets connected automatically. This is too irritating especially when on calls. Any reason known and what is the solution for this frequent mis-behaviour?
It's funny to see that the point has come that we have to say "just 3 gigs of RAM" 3-4 years back, we used to say that this phones comes with massive "2gb of RAM" times change quick.😂

M too using the Real me1 and didn't found any lag in the device performance till now. The camera is not that great, but does the job. Hats off to Helio P60 🎩 and Oppo's pricing for the phone.

Your videos are becoming very monotonous. Your coverage is pretty much superficial and noy in depth. As far as Real me 1 goes, you didn't cover Ram management issues in 3 GB model and how weak is its Face unlock. It can be unlocked even using a photograph. And u still promote the phone. Performance could be good but if it is insecure, it is no point purchasing
