Ian Moore.. Unfortunately so many will never experience the unbelievable talent.. just Raw soul.. Impeccable. Rhythm this musician brings to the table nThe music industry’s best kept secret ... Right on Ian.. keep the tunes flowing .. north Louisiana misses you !!! Marcy
This song is the lament of the nice guy. To pick, and dust off the girl of your dreams after she has been mistreated by every guy she meets. to treat her with loving kindness, indeed, to love her. Then, once her her wings have mended, she goes right back to them.....
I listened to this song over and over and over again after my fiance dumped me and I moved 2000 miles away to Texas to get over it. I feel you on that one!
Na na na na. Hollow victory. Now she should leave the dirtbag who has strung her along but she's blinded by "love"? Honey what you got ain't love! Very relatable song.
I called a radio station back in the 90s to win tickets to an upcoming Ian Moore show. When I got through and was caller #10, and the female DJ said I won 2 tickets to see Ian Moore, I asked, "Who?" She said "Ian Moore". I asked again, "Who?" She responded a little louder and said "Ian Moore" I asked two more times, and it got to her so she said loudly and a few times, "Ian Moore! Ian Moore! Ian Moore!" Then she said "Who am I speaking with?" I replied, "Ian, and I love it when you scream Ian, more!" Then she realized who I was as we knew each other, and she laughed and gave me the tickets, saying I "got her".
What do ya think they call it DOPE for? What a shame. Still one of my favorite Austin band. In S.D. to sick to even play. I could not believe it was the same dude
Cool. I live in Waco. I'll probably move down towards Austin in a couple years. Bought a small house here so I'll just finish remodeling it then move on.
Love this song and his first 3 or 4 albums then, dunno? He started doing the folksy thing and lost me.His prerogative I understand I just liked the blues/rock much better. Regardless he's a great talent.
I'm right there with you... Absolutely loved this entire album... These lyrics are some real shit that's happen to many of us, some of us have been the one to do this to someone... I've been on both sides of this... When I heard his newer stuff it wasn't the bluesy rock I loved...
Damn. Thats a rough one. Havent been to that point yet. How ya liking texas so far? Are u used to our sayings such as, "ill tell you what," or our profuse use of the term "yall" yet?
I would like to dedicate this song to the guy who screwed me over in a way no person ever should be, and took up with a twisted b*tch instead...by the time she chews you up and spits you out, your life is going to be this song. I can't wait to see it happen.
Let them go. Back to them....... You deserve better. And you will have better. Just be patiant and wise. And do not be needy. They will be coming to you. Relish in being single and alone and not in need of some bitch. It has it's rewards.
So ya live in wacko huh? lol, seen any cult members? j/k of course. yeah, i would suggest Austin for sure. Beautiful hill country and u got UT here so beautiful woman to boot :]
I'm not from Texas but I love this album and don't really like the new Ian. Please Ian, come back to the BLUES!!! See even people from Texas like the blues...
Another great song from Ian!!!!

Love this song !! I could have sung those lyrics several times in my life ! haha
When it takes off at the end, it gives me chills every time.
Saw Ian open up for Albert King in Houston around 1991...Before this album was released!
This song is the lament of the nice guy. To pick, and dust off the girl of your dreams after she has been mistreated by every guy she meets. to treat her with loving kindness, indeed, to love her. Then, once her her wings have mended, she goes right back to them.....

Na na na na. Hollow victory. Now she should leave the dirtbag who has strung her along but she's blinded by "love"? Honey what you got ain't love! Very relatable song.

this dude was good I saw him plenty of times back in Austin, then he moved to l.a. and lost his mojo.
he played in Houston and I was 2nd row, he played his best stuff and was better than ever, melted the guitar..
No he just grew up. Grew into a true musician.
What do ya think they call it DOPE for? What a shame. Still one of my favorite Austin band. In S.D. to sick to even play. I could not believe it was the same dude
That Michael Villegas though…
Cool. I live in Waco. I'll probably move down towards Austin in a couple years. Bought a small house here so I'll just finish remodeling it then move on.

He stoped getting high, and moved out of Texas...
Married and kids. its changes you.
Hey Jay! Didn't know you were a Moore fan. Luv it!
Love this song and his first 3 or 4 albums then, dunno? He started doing the folksy thing and lost me.His prerogative I understand I just liked the blues/rock much better. Regardless he's a great talent.
Personally from his other albums I like "Caroline" and "To Be Loved". They have a different feel but altogether pretty good.
ChrisO' fuck it all

He should be a household name.
I have often thought he was an under-rated talent. Not known much outside of the Southwest.
Phill it probably some how some way defines it just right that's how it pills
I guess like every one honestly never will know is what my grand dad said and he can beat your grand up but he is my step grand dad
Damn. Thats a rough one. Havent been to that point yet. How ya liking texas so far? Are u used to our sayings such as, "ill tell you what," or our profuse use of the term "yall" yet?
How does it feel, Devan?
I would like to dedicate this song to the guy who screwed me over in a way no person ever should be, and took up with a twisted b*tch instead...by the time she chews you up and spits you out, your life is going to be this song. I can't wait to see it happen.
Saw him at a small club outside of Sacramento back in the nineties. One of my all time favorites. And I have everyone. I'm 63.
Whose remodeling I like models
I would like to dedicate this song to every twisted bitch out there who has ever screwed me over.
Let them go. Back to them....... You deserve better. And you will have better. Just be patiant and wise. And do not be needy. They will be coming to you. Relish in being single and alone and not in need of some bitch. It has it's rewards.
