This is basically a scam. The game wants you to spend more money. When you gamble on a very cheap card it works, when you gamble for expensive cards you always fail. I leveled up Lopez with 15% chance, Fred Vanfleet with 20% chance and I failed to level up Bam and KAT with 85%. I don't believe it's a coincidence since this game scams in other areas too.

I lost my r5 tatum in 85% percent and my friend just level his embiid with 3% jaja because of the fail in tatum i lost a lot of money but im gonna recover it because no matter you sell the player the lucky shot is save in the same r you have the pj previously
I lost extra 5 Giannis cards yesterday just because of lucky shot. Definitely something is changed comparing to season 1. I am glad someone noticed. Gambling is fine but lucky shot is definitely off for me

For me when I upped Trae to 91 i always gamble, for example if you have a expensive card you need like 16 cards for the upgrade ill put in 15 and for me that has never failed. For cheaper cards i always just go over 60% and try it, if it fails i just add the lucky shot to the % and try again when its over 60%. This saved me millions, I have Bam 94 Trae 91 Wemby 82 Young James 84 and george 84
Bro I’ve been getting destroyed on the gambles I don’t think lucky shot works like how it used to. It’s better to try with all the copies or maybe 1 or 2 short at higher ranks like to get r6 and 7

Im broke so i dont know the feeling of gambling 😭. The players i have rn is 86 Jimmy Butler, 87 PG, 87 Mitchell, 86 Joel Embiid, maxed out Dinwiddie, and 89 Adebayo. It took selling a lot of players to get millions of coins so i can upgrade them, and since i dont a real money i made sure to get the lucky shot to 100% everytime.
