Loop detection capabilities are pretty cool.. Loopy Pro does an amazing job of figuring out what the length of the intended recording should be.. the first estimate is usually the one.. I love having options to choose after the fact.. or simply redo the recording.. 👍
fantastic tutorial, thank you so much!! Loopy pro is such an amazing tool…so much better than ableton or cubase for quick and easy recording sessions…wonderful!
Thanks for the wonderful video. Very well paced. I'm having problems with my metronome count in. Sometimes it works, other times it may give me just one or two counts. It's all over the place? Anyone with suggestions please. Loop detection is hit and miss. I'm using iPad Pro 12.9. (Not M1 version)
It is programmed to give you what is left in the cycle depending on also the configuration… try having it always on and check where you are on the cycle of playing (if you have count in of one bar and the cycle is half way it will give you only half a bar)… if you are recording also check the recording count in and out settings…
At 5:43 there is a part where you show how to change the loop lengt . Can that funktion be midi controlled in real time? If yes, can you tell midi parameters for that? Thanks 🙏😊
Its great!..but..in new update I didn’t find that possibility to open loop from left top corner..i am stuck ..and cannot find it…))..do you have a new update explained..or i miss something?..
Hi, if you mean to access the loop detection screen, you need to ensure that it is the first loop you are recording. Is this what you meant? Also check or reset the settings for recording… I have the latest version and still works the same … if this is not what you are referring to let me know…
Hello, I am a musician who plays guitar and sings like you.. Since I play guitar and sing alone, I want to use rhythm using Loopy Pro only with my iPad.. So I want to loop rhythms using Loopy Pro with iPad.. Is there an application you can recommend for me to use rhythm drums on the iPad?
That appears when you recorded without setting tempo and number of bars to be recorded. Go to the tempo settings, do a reset, than record again, stop the recording and the symbol should be there as long as you have the right settings under clip settings. There is another video on recording coming up that expand a bit more on recording…
For recording, you can set it to start recording as soon as you tap or as soon as you release. I think release is the default but you can change it. I think one if the things about loopy Pro is how flexible it is. I mean whatever you are used to is possible.
If I understand correctly you are saying that it recorded only the metronome? Is that correct? And therefore you cannot see the recording on the loop either?
This series going to be awesome 😎🤩.
:)
Mos definitely 🤓
Thanks
Great stuff. I am going over these tutorials again as there is lots to learn.
👍👍

Such a good tutor, excellent Leo slow and precise, brilliant
Thank you
Gestures control makes the workflow super fluid.
Oh yes and their configuration
@@soundformore absolutely
Cool! Thank you Leo. I am only just starting to use Loopy Pro, and loving it. Great tips.

You cannot control the length of a clip via a midi parameter…
@@soundformore thanks for the reply 🙏
@milos4437 i suppose you could multiply or divide the clip length via an action
And then you could do a midi learn against a widget that change the clip length… that would be a workaround…
@@soundformore yes, I try that, I need to think what that actually means first :) but thanks for the answers :)
Excellent, thank you!

Any genre in particular?

Make sure you have auto loop detection on, or restore clip settings to default using the restore button at the bottom of the clip settings menu…
For recording, you can set it to start recording as soon as you tap or as soon as you release. I think release is the default but you can change it. I think one if the things about loopy Pro is how flexible it is. I mean whatever you are used to is possible.
Well said
Amazing 🤩
:)
Is it possible to set master length as a clip length on swipe gestures … almost like extend feature
Through gestures you can multiply or divide clip length or set the master length via a session action…
@@soundformore I want to get a length of a specific clip and use it for extend functionality
Im using an audio interface with a few instruments connected. How do I enable loopy pro so that it inputs audio from all of my inputs at once?
Hi, what audio interface do you use?
@@soundformore Focusrite Scarlette i8i8
You’re making these so quickly, I can barely keep up 😅
Lots of interest on this one… :)
@@soundformore yeah, you’re going to be busy for a while I think 😁
Man, I’m learning so much about why everyone is feeling this app now. Ok ok 🤔
You will see… there is a lot already in version 1
It does not behave as described. I made the first loop and adjusted it but after I apply and then tap to play it only plays the metronome.
If I understand correctly you are saying that it recorded only the metronome? Is that correct? And therefore you cannot see the recording on the loop either?
👌👌👌👌
Thanks
