He is the person who shows you no matter how much money and fame you have, you should always be down to earth. While speaking, even when he is older than the politicians, giving respect and the language he uses to speak with them is few things to admire. While his answer to the important question was "Modi ji", I still give Fadnavis credit for showing us the mirror. We DO (mostly) vote for corrupt people and not the clean ones. They have the stamp of a party and that is sufficient for us. We were taught in Civics as kids to vote for the person, but we grew up to vote for the parties. We are responsible for our situation.
It's a cycle. Why we vote for a party, politicians are responsible for it. We vote for a party because of the one face of that party, that is its leader. We dont care who is actually running from our jurisdiction. We just see the national level face,the name of the party and that's it. But more than the leader, I have realised we must vote that which party will be better for our country's development and growth. Who will take our country forward and not backwards, who will respect democracy, who will secure the future of our young minds, who is less corrupt,who is peaceful and not a dictator. That shud be our criteria,not individual members. Bcz ultimately it's the whole party that rules,and decide the next 5 yrs of our country
