Rare literary great narrative, magical masters all are there, except Firaq. It has to be another session, amiss is real miss, and leaves it unfinished. Gifted talent and erudition par excellent.

Most of the people didn't get the quality of urdu and perfect arrangement of events and joining it with all the shayari of the poets all on the basis of his thoughts....excellent story telling talent.. through which he wants to depict the sad picture of today's world...but sadly the people were not so mature to get him....only few were able to get to his level.

The audience have no clue it seems. Anwar thinks Delhi is still the same as it was during Mir's time. Lol. I like Anwar he did good here, but it was all in one tone one note, no intonation of voice or different output. Now when you listen to Zia Mohiuddin that guy draws you like a magnet with his presentation command over language and voice, well the latter is God gifted so it's not Anwars fault but still the content was nice.
Zia is just a presenter. He reads creations of others while Anwar is reading his own work and has his own style, that does not take the credit away from zia mahiuddin.

If you guys are talking specifically about the audience that they can't understand Anwar sahib bcz urdu has been vanished from india..then it's hard to determine or say anything but as an academic lecturer I have visited india twice and gave tens of speeches in urdu..just believe me Indian audience is still a amazing audience ..and yes let me add this..urdu is still in india ..struggling hard to retain her(let me use this word for urdu)☺ survival

جشن ریختہ" ایک تنظیم ہے جو ہندوستان میں اردو کی بقا اور ترقی کے لیے کام کرتی ہے۔اس کے جلسوں میں آنے والے اکثر اردو سے جڑے ہوئے لوگ ہوتے ہیں۔ وہاں بیٹھے ہر شخص کو انور صاحب کی باتیں بخوبی سمجھ آ رہی ہیں بس اُن کے تاثرات تھوڑے پھیکے ہیں۔
میں اردو بولنے والا ایک کم عمر ہندوستانی ہوں پھر بھی انور صاحب کو اور انکی تصانیف کو بخوبی سمجھتا ہوں۔ وہاں بیٹھے ہوئے لوگ مجھ سے زیادہ اردو سمجھنے والے ہیں تو سب کچھ سمجھ بھی رہے ہونگے۔
یہ اور بات ہے کہ ہندوستان میں تقسیم کے بعد اردو تو باقی رہی لیکن اس سے جڑی ہوئی تہذیب کچھ پھیکی پڑ چکی ہے۔شاید یہی وجہ ہے کہ وہاں بیٹھے سامعین سب سمجھ تو رہے ہیں لیکن اردو والوں کی طرح تاثرات نہیں دکھا پا رہے ہیں۔

Brother you forgot lyrics (duur, kahani mohabbat ki, naa jane kyun, Beirut..... till the last Raat shabnami).. anwar sahab paints with his words...e.g. "dekho parbat se baadal gayein barsenge yeh ab kahan.." just imagine the picture.. not to forget that his son is also an excellent lyricist. Bilal's Main toh dekhunga is one of my favorites
