Mam, I got bitten by a stray dog in my right palm on 20th Feb at 5:30PM in the evening. I got 1st dose of the vaccine on the same day around 7pm. But I took rabies immunoglobulin on 22nd Feb in the morning around 11AM. Will it create any problem? is it too late to take immunoglobulin, immunoglobulin I took was Rabishield -100(rabies human monoclonal antibody). Dog bite is of category-III but the dog was not mad.

hi ma'am i was biten by my persian indoor unvaccinated cat in August 2021 at that time i didn't take any vaccine against rabies because cat was healthy for more than 10 days and still cat is healthy too and me also but now after 16 months of bite i realized my mistake and decided to get vaccinated against rabies so now i took 4 dosage of anti rabies vaccine for 0, 3,7, 28 days will that vaccine is enough for me now? do i still fear or i am safe now will that vaccine work now after 16 months of bite please reply
Respected madam, if dog's saliva is there on any inanimate object then how long rabies virus remains infectious on any inanimate object so that it can infect human if that object comes in contact with human's wound/human's eye/human's any mucus membrane????
Mam .. if someone who had suffered a cat-3 wound in the childhood and received pep with vaccine & Igs .. if they get a cat -3 in adulthood.. should they receive igs too ..? Or only vaccine would be sufficient.?

Immunoglobulins once received is sufficient..you do not need to repeat it even if someone suffers a class 3 bite again

Yes according to our national rabies control program bites from vaccinated pet dogs also requires post exposure prophylaxis
