I tried, but I didn't have time (too many things to do in Washington in 5 days )
I had only 1 hour for plane spotting (just before The return flight)
Also, IAD uses 3 parallels runways for the landings and I could only film a third of the traffic.

the Concorde crash on takeoff was caused by debris from the previous plane on the runway (Continental Airlines, which was even condemned by the courts) Air France is absolutely not responsible...

I'm glad you visited because I visited D.C several times and it is worth going there. Also in April im going on a tour of the Capital Building because I haven't went inside the Capital Building in 5 years! Oh yeah and IAD is SO underrated.

Be sure to visit Gravelly Point Park at Reagan National Airport. I have been going there since i was a toddler
Also if you ever come back to DC try going to the Air and Space museum's Uvdar Hazy center it's the big hanger right next to the Airport and has way more planes than the DC location does (Also the road leading to the museum is the last thing the planes fly over before the runway which makes for a good plane spotting location)

Nice to see your wife and son (he's growing like a weed) again. Love the Triple Seven and those awesome GE90s. Also cool to see those "buses" that transported you from one terminal to another at Dulles. I haven't been on one of those babies since I was a kid back in the early 80s at Montreal's Mirabel Airport. Those buses transported people from the terminal directly to the waiting aircraft but looked and functioned similarly to the one that you were riding on. Excellent vid, as usual. Thanks.

Iove watching your videos. I got questions to ask. What type of camera do you use to film your videos? What software app do you use to edit your RUclips videos and is it free to use? Do you use your phone or laptop to do your video editing? Whilst you film your videos, do you use tripod or selfie stick - what brand is it? I am still learning on how to film and edit my travel videos. Any advice would be very helpful

I use Wondershare Filmora ((paid software) to edit my videos, and only on my PC.
I film everything by hand, without a tripod or gimbal

Just curious as to why your present position (the blue dot) was so far away from your flight. Was it due to an accuracy issue? Great video as usual.
The position is not as precise with wifi on board, especially at very high speeds (800km/h +)

j'ai jamais pris une autre compagnie aérienne que Air France depuis que j'avais 6 mois. C'est très triste que l'a388 a été retiré sachant que j'ai jamais pris cette aéronefs mais le passé est dans le passé.
2h de video avec un iPhone, ça représente combien de Go environ ? J'imagine que tu l'a réglé en 4k 60 fps ?
je filme toujours en 4K 60 fps (impératif pour faire une vidéo de qualité)
En rentrant d'un voyage allez / retour, j'en ai en moyenne pour 300-400 Go de vidéos sur mon iPhone
Et une fois traité et le montage terminé, la vidéo définitive a upload sur YT fait entre 70 et 80 Go

Boeing traverse un moment désagréable en se moment, le Boeing 777 est l'un de mes avions favoris, un leader, mais si le futur Boeing 777x sera mis en service, sera-t-il sûr malgré quelques années à attendre son service ?😢
Le 777-300ER et ses GE90-115B sont irremplaçables. J’espère vraiment qu’Air France continuera à utiliser ses 77W (4 class avec les sièges de 2014, ma configuration préférée) dans les prochaines décennies.

Les -200ER sont actuellement déjà en cours de remplacement et les 77W ne vont pas tarder à suivre
La grosse commande le mois dernier de 44 A350 supplémentaires ( -900 et -1000) n'est pas un hasard ( en plus des 38 déjà commandés)
A défaut, peut être s'attendre a une éventuelle commande de B777X, mais aux vues des problèmes et retards interminables accumulés, cette option est très peu probable
Même Emirates, le plus gros client menace d'annuler sa giga commande de 160 appareils..

Elle est énormément condensé, et je coupe déjà beaucoup de passages (certains me le reprochent même)
En dessous je devrais supprimer pas mal d'éléments du voyage
Et beaucoup de gens apprécient les détails, surtout les passionnés et les curieux (même non initié)
Au fil des années de pratique il est advenu que le format idéal pour une vidéo de ce type (Flight Report) est entre 1h30 et 2h
PS: dites vous qu'a chaque fois que je rentre de voyage (long courrier) , j'ai en moyenne entre 400 et 500 Go de vidéo à traiter (parfois jusqu'à 800Go !)
Cela ferait une vidéo de 6-7 heures si je mettais tout bout à bout sans montage ;)
