I reacently got back to Angerfist and wanted to make Hardcore. One thing I really want to learn is how to make my own kicks. Thanks a ton for this tutorial!!
So how do you automate some distortion or frequency in your bass line ?? If you use that ammount of time for 1 kick ...example you have a constant changing kick... normally you do this out of your plugin so everything changes in you bassline ..with your way you can make good kicks but sit death or doesnt change ...at least if you take hours to make every kick different for one 16 bar kickline you must be crazy...?
Hey. I just got a question. How do you manage to protect your ears if you boost the eq that much (and the distortion and so on) because if i do it it can get really loud. Is there a trick or technique for that? If you see this and answer please keep in mind that im quite new to music production so im not familiar with all the terms. :) Greetings LaW
Oh wow! That’s one of the best hardcore tutorials. Not like the “add piano add a synth add fx” ones. But i think you shouldve removed that clicky sound with some kind of enveloper

Just put a soft clipper in the last mixer channel or on your master.
