Sending love all the way from Hattiesburg Mississippi I love your videos I have been in the market for a new quad or drone since mine got destroyed in the tornado that destroyed our house and items couple months ago ! Thanks for the opportunity!
Hay Justin Great video of the ranger2000 , sweet big bird, should hold a good load of equipment for what ever type of flying. I still fly my Radian pro as much as I can but this would be so much nicer. The Pro barley gives you enough room for the radio and 1300ma 3s Battery.
The Ranger EX is very easy already and a lot of fun to fly. Can the Ranger 2000 do thermal soar or is it too heavy? What's the wing chord on the Ranger 2000? What's your AUW with the 3000mah? Cheers Nik (from Germany)
Mallaig Alberta Canada great review seen lots of guys upgrade the motor ps by the way did you put flaps on ASW28 keep up the great honest reviews Take Care God Bless
Great for a beginner! No I wouldn’t say iNav is simple. Depends on how well you can ready many many docs to figure it out. If you’re a fast reader maybe simple.
@@dronecamps ok thanks . I'm looking for a fpv long range solution and i live in the mountain so i want a good solution to glide. What do you think about volantex asw28 or sonic model wing900. Sorry for my little english but i live in Italy and i don't speake often english. Thanks
I can add to the mentioned advantages of this plane, that it is easy to assembly-disassembly, to carry around in native box, easy to pack into, say, a golf-class car. Genius wing mounts. Not-so-good, but advanced and reliable mounting of the tail unit. And lots of gliding! Volantex has made a great job for us.
Fellow Portlander checking in...cool video as always! Almost seems like flying in a full sized plane at times, I need to try the fixed wing someday as well. Tough luck with the crash, but as you say, perfect durability test!
Loving all your reviews!!!! I just moved from pdx to maui and saw your AT board review and will be getting one of those over the evolve for sure. Keep it up , your awesome!!!!
Iam from the Netherlands. I watch your content because of the honest reviews that you do. O and I don't have facebook. Keep your honest content coming!
I am a complete noob with this stuff. I am wondering how does this compare to the Phoenix? The model with the propeller in the front. Also which one would you recommend for a first timer?
I wish it was $130 it is $200 in Australian it will cost about $300 to get to fly this plane once you pay for what is needed to fly this plane you americans are lucky
Hello I’m going to purchase one of these I see you use the GoPro on it How do you find it with the weight of the go pro I have a session 5 and a hero 7 Thanks
@@dronecamps haha seriously. Hey, maybe a video on good budget planes? I vote the ranger 400. Just got it and was pretty impressed. just made a video test flying it and it's my first rc plane.
Hi there. I have ordered this plane. Can I use my 4s 3300 battery. Others are saying the motor cuts in and out with 4s. If so can I just put a 60 amp speedy in it ? Any advice would be great 👍
Thanks Justin, nice review on the plane and of course for another opportunity to win a prize! The little "Rabbitt" Diatone looks great, loving the HD recording on these frames. Good luck everyone. Jeff
so i know i just watched a video on your channel that was a review of the new tinyhawk 2s version. why is it gone now, i just watched it like 2 hours ago. when is the new tinyhawk S going to be available in stores??????
everytime you do a fixed wing i think, maybe that would be a good first plane. im pretty sure this is the 'one' looks stable and not twitchy like some of the smaller wingspans. hi from Wollongong Australia
Hey, greetings from Poland! As a first RC plane ever, would You recommend of buying this one? Always dreamed to try this hobby... I’m flying drone and have a lot of experience in fly simulators (gaming) 😁
Probably not an absolute beginner plane. Best making all your mistakes on something far cheaper. I'd buy a gyro assisted trainer first.. The XK A800 motor glider would be a great option for you..
You supply great reviews-I live in New Zealand & am into Radio Control Gliders (still learning to fly) Am still looking for the ULTIMATE Glider to buy etc so am taking your excellent advice so have subscribed to your sight-"YAHOO!!!"
I'm liking this model alot Justin and great review, question, what is the largest battery it can carry for optimal flight time? I couldnt see what battery mah you were using on your flight. Would it be able to carry like a 5000 - 6000 mah battery? What flight time can i expect with this size of battery?

Hi any ideas on where to get parts for the Ranger 2000 V2, crashed mine 1st time out and both wing locks broke (the ones inside the plane).

Johnny. Yeah I really think Horizon should start including an fpv canopy option. So many people flying fpv on these now.
I just seen at my Hobby store a Radian Night flyer with a ton of LEDs.
Little secret you can get 16ft of leds on Amazon for like $10. ;)
I don't plan on buying another glider, I can't get rid of the ones I have.
Looks like a winner! From King of Prussia, PA
Nice glider.
How do you mount your gopro
That is a nice plane, and great give away.
If a learner was flying would you recommend this over the parrot disco thanks
In a way yes. Way cheaper and more durable.
Drone Camps RC thanks I’ll give this a go
You’ll like it. It’s easy to get setup and fly. Easier than the larger ASW28 Glider by Volantex.
Cheers from your Vancouver lake buddy
Hi buddy thanks for the video =) For a long range fpv platform, if you could pick the ranger ex or the ranger 2000, which would you prefer? Cheers
I’m too late for the giveaway right..? lol

Hey Justin, I just purchased this. I'm putting the propeller together. Is it meant to free spin?
Cancel my last. I used an extra bolt and it tightened perfectly
@@steaders82 yeah.. props work best when not free spinning..
if the extra bolt wasn’t in the box, sure.. you go for it...!

Is this the same size as the Ranger 1600 except it has 2000mm wings?
Yes Its the same Fuse! It flies so well, I upgraded the motor on mine after It failed, I'd get the KIT version to be honest!
