They are monkeys. Teaching them to eat with a fork isn't going to impress anyone. They'll never be human enough to stay there more than another year or two and then you'll dump them where forks and spoons don't even exist. Then what? Will they know to grab all the food they can get because it runs out in minutes? Will they know how to peel their own food to eat faster than the others who will steal it right out of their hands? You aren't helping them in the long run. While I admit you've done good with the dog bite and helping him recover with a real doctor, you are not helping them at all when you have to leave them somewhere to understand how to be part of a troop and what a king or queen will do to them when they don't follow the hierarchy.
