Companies and government agencies actually have DEI operating officers. That is a total waste of money and a position that should not exist anywhere at any time. A total misallocation of funds and priorities. I've seen this up close in the hospitals and schools I work for. It sickens me. I hold my tongue on this till I am retired. Happily, that will be sooner rather than later. Then I will not hold my tongue any longer.
