October 03 - Hollyoaks - James & Ste

Ste is at James's hospital bedside when James wakes up. James says that Sid saved him but Donna-Marie and Ste think he was hallucinating. James says that while he was trapped he was able to say goodbye to Marnie. He finds Sid, to prove that he was there, and has a conversation with him about facing your fears. Donna-Marie later reminds James and Ste that they were about to get back together before James was kidnapped and while Ste tells her not to rush James, he agrees they need to talk. However, instead of reuniting, James tells Ste that he loves him, because he loves him he's not going to hurt him any more and that they're never going to see each other again. Ste gets angry and tells James 'good riddance' before walking off, while James is visibly upset...
(While I can't see any happy reunion in the next few weeks, I still think they'll get back together by the end of the year. In the meantime, we know Ste will be pursuing Ethan, and we know James continues to have a rough time leading into Christmas. Whatever's relevent to their relationship, I'll continue to post here.)

James has done the right thing by ending things with Ste. Even though I can't stand homosexuality them two together weren't right and were such an odd couple. James is correct to focus on himself, getting help on his crippling gambling addiction that nearly made his family homeless and trying to reinstate himself as a lawyer. Trying to get things back with Ste would have easily distracted him from his problems.

Ste and brendan will always be my favourite, stes first love ❤ I still feel deep down that ste will always love brendan more than anyone hes ever with
