I’m just now seeing your video and man this brought back so memories for my wife and I. We did the traverse some years back and fell in love with it, I’m 60 years old now and still love being outdoors. I’m not in perfect health but in good enough shape to do it again, and with a luck we will complete it once again in 2024 while we’re able. Thanks so much for this video and god bless you guys on your journey in this beautiful country.
@@SunshineStateAdventureCo I did. The series Really helped get a better perspective of the whole trail. Me and a group of friends are going at the end of October. Anything you recommend for a bunch of first timers? Also, wanted to get yall opinion and ask if a lifted up full size f-350 on low profile nitto grapplers make it? Or are the trails too narrow? Or do you think the low profiles will pop because, I've seen several groups videos and they all air down. We are all south Floridans who haven't done this terrain before.
@@cody7296 The Traverse is the perfect route to hit for your first time. So, My advice for a bunch of first timers is just GO! In regards to the f-350. If you stay on the Traverse main route you will be fine as far as fitting. My main concern with the Lo-pros is bending a wheel even at full air or airing down. As you can see it pretty rocky and you can realy hurt those fancy wheels like that. I 100% wouldn't take that truck down popcorn road. It wont fit and backing that thing out will be a disaster.
@@cody7296 We just released a travel guide that will help you plan your traverse trip and replicate what we did... hit the trails we hit and camp where we camped. Hope this helps. www.floridaadventuretrail.com/product-page/4-day-georgia-traverse-travel-guide-4x4
That's awesome, me and a group of friends are going towards the end of October. Definitely try and go towards the end of October or November so you can see the leaves change in my opinion.
I have the reverse trip map. Which of the crossings is the one you show with the technical area on exit? Stock F150 STX 4x4 owner is not sure how able it will be. Or should I assume Sarah's creek segment should wait until proper lift and tire size increase? Thanks!

My wife and I are doing the traverse in October for the first time and we can't wait.
You will have such a great time! It’s truly and incredible route through some of the most beautiful roads in the south east.

I’ve always went to the side the frontier went lol
Ha! That’s the best side for sure 😂😂
@@SunshineStateAdventureCo exactly haha but was the ending part of the video Charlie’s creek ?
@@Overlandlife_ are you talking about the part where I was driving in reverse? If yes, then yes. 😂
@@SunshineStateAdventureCo I knew it 😂 and at Sarah’s creek that little obstacle lol looks a lot worse in person but the video makes it look weak 😂
@@Overlandlife_ totally agree. Videos never do it justice lol
