Omg!! I am so glad I watched this video I absolutely love my upart but get so annoyed that it’s too big. It came with the bands and of course as a newbie I did nothing with them besides throwing them back in the bag lol so thankful I found this video!!
Im definitely 2 years late, but it doesn’t. I’ve been a wig wearer for years and whenever I attached an elastic band, the wig fits better but it still doesn’t lay flat due to all the extra fabric. Your wig will only fit snug if it fits your head circumference, which is why I started making my own wigs.
Yours is beautiful but I have a small head and this did not fix my problem. The sides of my u part wig comes down much too dar and the back is completely bunched up in the back and sides. I can't hide it because it is a straight style.
Ok my wig is too big and they included that strap and I was wondering what it is for but know I know. My question is with that steal the extra scalp feels baggy. Is that supposed to be like that?
Well unfortunately that’s what happens when you buy cheap units. The video stated how to fix a u part that is too big . Common sense would be to add tracks to wherever has empty spaces :/

Hi, once you sewed the band in, do you use it to put over head or just for tighter feel?
Just for a tighter feel, mine was loose in the back so the band helped with that.

This doesn’t fix the empty big holes though, all that does is make the wig itself tighter at where your neck is :/
