  • Improve your knowledge with this useful video! Here we talk about all types of base connections of a dental chair!
This video explains how our dental units must be connected at the base: the electrical system, the suction system, the drain system, and the air/water connection.
This video gives all information about:
-The dental unit you can install depending on the available connections you have at the chair base in your clinic (power supply, air supply, water supply, suction pipe, drain pipe, suction switch wires)
    -The traditional suction system
-The Dürr valves: CAS1, CS1, Spittoon bowl valve and the selection valve
-What you can do if you have a dry suction motor
-If you need an amalgam separator
-If you have to connect two or more dental units to the same suction motor
-What you can install if you do not have a drain pipe at the chair base
-If you do not have a suction motor in your machinery room.
    All tips, one video!

El sistema dental periférico entra en mal funcionamiento si no están las tuberías en un buen funcionamiento y sin un error por puede dañar todo el material así como la silla con el mecanismo

How does the evacuation and draining system work for an ajax brand chair!?
Is it possible to make an evacuation above + a suction system to suck up the saliva and the patient's blood
Ps : I am a beginner and I have a problem with the drain system

Hello! Any dental unit (of any brand) must have a drain and/or a suction system. If you only have one chair connected to the suction motor, you just need to connect the tubes at the chair base (drain and suction). If you have two or more dental units connected to the same suction motor, you need to implement a selection valve for each dental chair. And, if the suction is dry you must implement an air/water separation system (CS1). This video explains all types of base connections!

Hello Issam, you should ask to the supplier who gave you the dental unit.

Is the suction switch wire necessary to run there?

Hello. Which suction switch sorry? And there where?
The suction cables need to arrive at the chair base, pink connectors if they don't have 220v inside

Yes at the chair base. What do you mean by if they don’t have 220v inside?

@@ricardodawkins3997 the contacts that comes from the suction motor can be attached directly to the pink connector only if the don't bring 220v. If they have 220v then you need a relé to apply before connecting the activation wires on the pink conncetor of the dental unit. So it depends on the suction motor. If you need more tech info, plese write to info@simplesmart.it and please provide the serial number of our dental unit. Some pictures of the label to identify the unit and some pictures of the suction motor to identify the suction motor. In case is our dental unit we will provide direct sarvive by whatsapp. Thanks and Regards
