Im starting fresh with a tight budget i have my tent and all but at the moment i have a $100 wal mart heavy duty expert grill. Would you recommend me getting a larger offset or do you think i could run my expert grill for a couple pop ups? I could purchase from the money i profit or should i just pay out of my personal account in the beginning. I dont want to look too unprofessional to customers
@@MidwestSmoke92 that depends on a few things. 1. Can you get a good product out of the one you have now? Be honest. If you can and you think people would be willing to pay for it then yes use it and then take the profits and purchase a better one. However if you think the food you’re making on the current one isn’t up to par and the grill is holding you back you might want to consider an upgrade. Assuming you have the financial backing to do it. If it’s going to put a strain on your finances do not spend the unnecessary money. Lastly figure out if your not happy with your current food quality is it my cooking skills, recipes, or is is the smoker. I a great smoker won’t fix a bad cook.
Whats up man? been following you along your journey. Thank you for your info because its guiding me on my path to get my business going. If i could critique one thing that would make a huge difference to video quality, get a mic. With the ambient noise of the highway, its hard to hear u at times because im distracted. They make the ones that the receiver plugs into your phone and you clip the mic on your shirt. A small investment that can make a huuuge difference
Yeah the highway noise is bad. I do appreciate your opinion on barbecue because me and my buddy are just starting up a bbq business in SC so thanks for making these videos and sharing your experience
