Kamisato Ayaka. Her popularity is on another level. People waited for her for 2 years to be released in Genshin . Her popularity status is that high that Dawei, CEO of Mihoyo also mentioned her as one of the Most popular Inazuma Character . She should be within Top 5

When I was actively playing Genshin many months ago, Childe didn't strike me as super popular, if anything, Zhong Li was extremely popular. Maybe now dynamics have changed.

Based on looks and powers alone, I really like to play Diluc
trust me. he isn't meta anymore. his DPS gets dwarfed by S+ tier DPS like hu tao, ganyu, eula, raiden shogun, xiao etc. if u want to u use him since u like him in some way then fine by me

But I'm just one guy and like you said he's fan favourite in a lot of Asian countries so I'll take your word for it. I'm happy regardless, my favourite character being number 1. Childe is sooo fun to play and really versatile. I don't like bow characters but I use him on almost every team.

I didnt know what the interesting side About eula. The story is so so and cannt compared to other character. Even kaeya story is more interesting than her i think.
A lot of people still misunderstood her story and actively hates her. As much as fan of Eula I am, I understand why she's not on this list.
What I am more surprised was how low Raiden and Ganyu were in this list.
@@mrlaguna0808 That's my point exactly. It's been over 8 months since her official debut. A fanbase surrounding Eula wouldn't be too hard to believe. A fair number of Genshin players, among others, may admire her beautiful appearance, her skills as a fighter, and/or her background which is rooted in the historic/continued disdain between the citizens of Mondstadt and the nation's nobles.

I honestly don't get what's the problem with gingers can anyone enlighten me? I love Childe because morally grey characters are just so cool.
So happy to find him getting the top spot in popularity here. It doesn't feel like that way in some GI communities, he's always being mocked and trashed by some like his skills' cooldown etc. I really love him as a character and DPS. And I can tell that he will be irreplaceable to me even in the future once Ayato's banner drops. Really loving my hydro babies. All of them, but Childe is special of course!🥺

And the fact that Watch mojo said that Keqing(my waifu) is a deadly dps is already wrong in a lot of ways. She's out dps by a lot of characters but I love her. Bought her skin too.

Everyone saying childe shouldn't be first when in the pash gi popularity contest he was 1st, 2nd being zhongli in Japan. His second banner rerun surpassing his first there, making on another popularity contest list in Japan at 15th higher than both raiden and zhongli. Another which is from female voters and being the only gi character.
And being one of the most iconic characters because no shuts up about him

Most likely the west portion or just those who doesn't like him or misunderstood his character. If it's the CN community (lore wise) and everything with the JP community, expect them to defend him. Especially in JP lol! They absolutely love him. Beats ZL in merch even. Childe is their ZL as to the majority of us. The CN is mixed to ZL's lore but gameplay wise? Good.

Other than the archons, he and Albedo are pushing the overall plot. Diluc-Kaeya or the Mondstadt gang has yet to join.
This seems to be mixed of favorites by gameplay and lore. With Childe leading, it does support it.

Funny how a game, with majority male players n focus more on female characters but both meta (bennet, xinqiu, kazuha, zhongli) n popularity ranking were dominated by male characters.
I think it's probably because there are many female characters so the fanbase is split meanwhile male characters is fewer so the they are more packed.
Next should be Mihoyo's Honkai Impact. That game also has a lot of great qualities. And I will join the Genshin Impact train if or when it comes to Nintendo Switch!

Wow no mention of Mona? I was going to hold off on playing Genshin until I saw her design. I figured all the character designs must be great if she looked that good. So yes, Mona is the reason I played Genshin. Got her without paying too.

Been playing ever since i got her few months ago and her E ( teleport ) always comes in handy when collecting sigils on some areas with no Clift area to reach it.

As a long term player , the most popular char is basically the one who is featured on the current banner or one of the archons.

My top character would be Zhongli, Xiao, Ayato, Childe Ningguang, Raiden Shogun, Ganyu, Venti, Diluc, and Nahida. But I’m pretty surr that Nahida will be ranked up there once she gets the necessary exposure she needs. Few more banner reruns and I’m pretty sure that she’ll become everyone’s favourite.
If Childe gets a rerun I’ll definitely pull for him,just to put him in my teapot.

@@horangae5230 I was lucky enough to get Skyward Harp from Standard Banner. And also most of my artifacts gives me atleast 25% CD including a Crit Rate Circlet with 22% CD. Tbh It took me way too much time. I used all my resins for farming Heart of Depth set for 2 months. Being Patient is the Key here. Good luck 👍👍

Plot, graphics, OST and the frequency of updates and the cut-scenes
High quality production at lightning speed pace, miHoYo is absolutely insane
@LøstSoul The filler updates are absolutely packed that they don't feel like filler at all once you consumed it. Have you played Golden archipelago? Dragonspine?tsurumi island? Enkanomiyya? Events.. etc? They are so good and meaningful and make you love the characters and world even if they are npc. They put high quality content in filler so that you get a breather while making it exciting and worth playing and they do this all in 1. 1/2 months. Other games they take a whole season to make 10% content 90% skins/low effort content and purposely drag it long until you get tiny crumbs and never leave you satisfied.

I would say yes. I haven't seen a game that continually updates every 40 days other than this game. And when I say an update (New Character, New Quests) not just a bug fix or buffs. Also you can experience it all for free. Some people will say otherwise but if you aren't greedy to have all the characters, you can enjoy this game for what it is.
Only 5 stars...still though I respect anyone's opinions of who they like in this game or any game in general, even tier list because they're all only opinions in the end. In the end though you like whoever you like. Not good to be a sheep and just agree with all tier list without using your own judgement. Rosaria is always my number 1 favorite because goth battle nuns are a great thing.
Qiqi should have been #1. Her character demo is the #2 most viewed vid of Genshin's channel. Was the emoji that people use in Genshin's discord during the anniversary controversy. And is the most annoying character to lose 50/50 to because she's the worst 5* character
