They are the real queen of 5th gen with great music. These girls really need an appreciation for their talent, Song, music, dance, concept, creativity, storyline, comfortable at their own part of the song etc. They have their own style and vibes. And this is what I call talent. There’s no show up, just them from small company and doing their best. I know international fans are already their fans, I just hope kntz would recognise them asap.

There are a number of parallels I'm sure we all can draw from them, but I think the chief component that really is stressed in both groups is showcasing individuality and not being ashamed of who you are. I know (G)I-DLE is still around and going strong, but I feel if there ever was a spiritual little sister to them, it's Kiss of Life.

KIOF is one of the unique kpop groups. A refresher from all these copy paste trends cycle that all good at first but became boring lately. dunno why KIOF is being slept on when they literally showed everyone that they got what stans want. i prefer KIOF's concept and sound than that ygngg
When I first saw KIOF they reminded me of G-IDLE which is unique and different from Kpop in general and they don't come from a big agency, hopefully KIOF can get bigger attention and be successful with their own hard work, If you like other unique girl groups, I recommend XG or Young Posse, they are also different from Kpop girl groups in general and their genre is based on RnB and Hip Hop.
I dont understand why still so many people sleeping on them. Literally it dosent get better than this. ( Especially in the RnB sound, like the only other groups out there doing RnB on THAT level are Red Velvet and XG and that's saying alot. ) If Belle isn't mentioned in your discussions about best vocalists, y'all are LYING.
You know what's sad is that today's fandom prefers groups that are full of visuals, they no longer care about vocal quality or other skills, especially if the girl group comes from a big agency, not to mention that big agencies can do sajaegi/payola to their idols. You were not too wrong though. Most of Europe, including Ancient Greek where it originated, has the pronunciation of Midas similar to your first one (and Adidas being German, that tracks too). English warped it to the pronunciation you were corrected to, and then the Asian languages like Korean and Japanese took it from English. And it totes was a curse. Midas was a greedy man who wished everything he touched to turn to gold. Greek gods being the cruel pranksters granted him his wish. He was at first very happy, but that quickly changed when he found his food and wine turning to gold as they touched his lips, and his loved ones turning to golden statues when he sought comfort.
The only thing I don’t get about Midas Touch is the name lol. Because yes, Midas was “blessed” (cursed) by the gods to turn anything he touched into gold. But the girls aren’t turning the men into gold statues, they’re turning them into marble statues which is Medusa’s purview, not Midas’. I imagine there’s a reason for that? But the entire MV is such good early 2000s vibes.
I think they combine Midas and Medusa together since we saw a lot of snakes and Medusa scenes in this MV. Plus the man was turned into stone by touching, not by looking.
