These 3rd position lessons explained a lot to me. I bought the Wolfhart position studies but I didn't understand it. However, I just have a question which has always intrigued me: how is it that all violinists in an orchestra bow the same way and use the same positions, as you said it's a matter of choice? Does the Director write the music?
I would love to olay in an orchestra but don't think they'd have me as I play left handed😫. Thank you so much.
