The only thing that I agree about is the drugs and it only happens in the neighborhoods mentioned in the video, and we hear about them a lot because the police here are way more strict then any other city in Saudi.

I lived and went to school in Saudi Arabia. Not a single one of these areas is dangerous in a Western context. It appears from the video there is a communication gap between the driver and Mr. Santenello. What he was told were "dangerous" areas likely refers to the sometimes reckless manner some young drivers drive in those areas. Yet gangs, armed robberies, shootings, assaults, etc., that are commonplace in Western urban cities are next to unknown in the Gulf.

There are no gangs in Riyadh, in the sense that they are known in America, but some boyish gatherings in some neighbourhoods (teenagers)

Danger and Saudi don't go along very well. That guy doesn't know what he's talking about, these are just nice poor people and the teens of poor families tend to hang outside in the neighboorhood play football "soccer" and chill, nothing in the realm of danger! but for some reason your driver gets that feeling, I'm not sure why. Him not being native should be enough for you to know that he has no clue on what he's talking about, how would he know!!
A possibility is that he wanted to milk your money and drive you around as long as he could.
There is no danger that the driver wants you. You stayed with him for the longest possible period to earn money. They are just ordinary people, poor people do not have weapons or knives. The driver is a fraud and a liar. Look at his laughter. I have been wronged and wronged by the driver.

The problem with your comment, and all the other comments like it, is that you shame yourself by demonstrating that perhaps Saudis are not capable of logic: The fact that there is a "most dangerous part" does not mean that Peter is saying it is dangerous, and even if he was, it is not saying anything about the overall "dangerousness" of Riyadh. It is the same as if Peter was to say the most dangerous thing in the countryside was baboons, and then hypersensitive and irrational comments were to appear saying "no! Saudi countryside is safe! Someone would have probably called and waited for the police to come but what I saw was amazing the people wouldnt let the trouble makers leave until the police came .
On my last visit, December 2019 I was told that it is safe all over in Riyadh and you have nothing to worry about noe be afraid. I never seen anything questionable to me in Riyadh regarding my safety. I feel much safer in Riyadh than my own country.

Actually we don't have gangsters, because people here live with groups ( big families ), and they forced to act with respect towards others so they don't ashame the family name, aslo if someone is poor and can't get work or anything, the same family will take care of him financially, people here don't kill each other so easily, so we don't have lot of crimes, but we do have sexual crimes, to be honest, so yeah

Just because there are people saying I live here it's not dangerous there is a good reason why they say that 1 it is a very under policed area to they are locals so it is different they are not big on westerners. I have spent a fair amount of time in the Middle East and the Kingdom of Bahrain And you have to be mindful of where you go
