Whenever I hear a person getting a hidden mayor surprise reveal 1v1, I always remember back to old ToS where I revealed day 1 cause achievement back when they first released and had a 1v1 with the last mafia. I asked them "Why am I alive" and he didn't really have an answer for that

Pipton is telling the truth though. Trickster, as a role, has the highest skill in the game. It doesn't need the player. The player is there just to push buttons.

I know from experience because I had a game where I proposed to a suspicious Tracker who turned out to be Werewolf, the Werewolf died to jester haunt that same night, and I couldn’t propose to anyone else the rest of the game.
I was discussing the roles with my brother when I realized that VH was transformed into the Trickster. It turns out that the only way to make VH into a proper role is to remove the vampires.
Unrelated but i just wanna share this game i just had. So I rolled crusader and ended up killing the HM. During the trial the voodoo gets hung and and exe ends up tormenting the CL. And thats it, THATS THE GAME. And I got a lovely achievement from it because the game ended on day 2 :D
I really dislike that Trickster kills themselves if they do their job right. I think Trickster should be equivalent to the CL. So that you can decide if you want basic attack and basic defense or powerful attack. You are, however, not informed if your target was innocent or their defense was to high.

Trickster with tp chain is already this powerful anyways, allowing trickster to be slightly independent even if all they can do is force a killing role to lose a night. Just make it so you can't trick same person twice in a row so trickster doesn't become a tool to lock down targets with. This only allows trickster to safely eliminate roles that have no defense without dying in return. If vigi doesn't have to die after attacking a killing role, neither should trickster.
All any is the most fun/relaxed game mode. You don’t have to sweat to focus on role lists there’s a chance for crazy games you can have fun roles and team comps and people get to scroll what they want.
Btw I have played tos2 for the first time and my first game was a coven win as wildling with book after ck and Medusa died, it was just me and the hex master and we won because we had to hang a death
You know, Trickster should pick a person and see everything that happens to them at night, but not who visits or whom they visit. Just the messages the selected person gets at the end of the night (including if they used their ability or not). That way Trickster can use that info to zero in on a good person to Trick. They could fake claim Spy to throw off Doomsayers. Edit: that would mean if the selected person was RBD, if the selected person attacked someone who was immune, if they were attacked but they had defense, etc. Coven don’t get text at the end of the night saying if they successfully attacked someone… though some APOC roles could get exposed if unlucky (like Soul Collector).
@@paulstelian97 kind of? i do still think its a little too similar to spy, but this idea is that trickster will see all visible messages (so internal and external ones, as long as the selected player will see the message) but spy sees all external ones (so all external messages whether visible to the selected player or not, such as being doused/hexed). they're different, but i don't know if they're distinct enough to be separate roles.

I feel like to fix trickster they should have a max of 2 tricks and maybe give them 1 vest so they have the chance of killing once without dying. Idk, just a thought
Is this seriously your first time 1v1 mayor ? I have like >100 hours in ToS and I’ve done that twice. 1st time was against PB, and second time was against a godfather. The first time I did it I was surprised it wasn’t an achievement.
I had an interesting game this morning. I was a spy. I bugged #4 N1 & N2 my bug got triggered with the message "Your target has entered a Toxic Relationship and will not be able to speak tomorrow!" #4 had proposed to the pirate N2 & that is why they were silenced. D3 I post my results revealing that info for my bug on #4, N3 I bugged a dep who had poped out & Hex triggered my bug so at the start of D4 I whispered my bug results to the Admirer & the Dep, hex didn't have book. Near the end of D4 & for parts of D5 the Admirer, forgetting that I had revealed that he was in a toxic relationship with the pirate & that I had revealed hex master game, starts calling me fake. Thankfully enough I wasn't voted or lynched cause town knew I was legit. #4 after the game said sry, that he forgot about my bug that had revealed the toxic relationship XD
