Mine is in Nightfall Grey. Looks really clean with some dark(ish) tint. Good commuter car, and I appreciate the heated seats when it gets cooler outside. I do wish the hatch opened quicker, but I suppose I’d rather have stiff struts than struts that are too weak to keep the hatch open.

Definitely expensive when new. I bought one for $18k in my early 20s out of desperation. Lmao no way it’s worth that. Paid less for my used Corolla XSE and it’s way better.

I love this car but what I hate is that they are extremely slow compared to how they look, wish they made it way faster. Don’t get me wrong this car hugs corners extremely well it’s a fun little car but don’t think you will be beating any cars out there..... I forgot to mention that the seats are awesome in this vehicle!!

  • @NGMonocrom

Very nice review, but sooo many features I would never use. Literally never use. But yet, I'd happily pay for all of them if the RS came with an engine upgrade for some real performance (would happily pay more for the engine upgrade as well obviously) instead of only having sporty looks. And the RS badging is just tacked on with nothing to back it up. Reminds me of when I was a kid. Guys in the neighborhood would buy the base Camaro, then go to junkyards to buy SS badges off of wrecked Chevy cars. Then they'd put those on their base model Camaro.
Never thought I'd see the day when Chevrolet itself would pull the same type of cheesy stunt. No engine upgrade? Okay, give me an LS instead with the only available option for that trim level; the 6-speed automatic transmission. All I need, with a minimum of expensive electronic features that are usually the first things to break down and cost the most to have fixed. (Since the engine and transmission are covered under warranty. So ironically better if one of those breaks down than the Push-button Start or the power driver's seat.)

The biggest problem I have with mine is the glossy black plastic that surrounds the infotainment and the door handles (on the interior). I've only had the car for a few months. Knowing that the gloss black won't age well, I've been removing dust with a microfiber cloth... but as time goes on... more and more micro scratches and swirls show up on the gloss black. Don't understand the decision to use so much of it. Surely, Chevrolet has top notch Human Factors people working on their cars, right?

I break this rule myself. But one should NEVER buy the first year maybe even second year of a new model change til they get any bugs out. Or in my case I should have waited to buy the 2018 versus my 2017. Why ? They updated deck, made bowties blk. But not to get the 2019 or 2020. Why ? Because they delete the push button on rear doors, deleted the premier or LT emblem and turbo emblem on back. So 2018 best of this new model style. Mind you I changed my bowties to blk.

Chevy to many models on offer ? need t to reduce the range of vehicles overhaul on offer ? all to confusing ? Just go for the best selling vehicles and discontinue the rest? Could save the company millions of dollars overnight? and go full steam ahead 🙂 with electric vehicles ☺️ gasoline engine's are going the way of the dodo . The Chevy volt battery car 🚗 is a good example. Of what can be done over the whole thing.
