Reminds me of Faith Circus meets Sunstorm meets Khymera. This is AOR perfection! Love the catchy chorus and layered vocals. Oh and i love that lyric "Still the wind makes a promise tonight". Talent galore. Keep rockin' brother \m/
It's not that. What helps more is the experience I've had with writing songs, thinking about the structure, arrangements, and in particular what I've learned about vocal phrasing and vocal ad libs from the singers I've worked with. Don't get me wrong - I've only scratched the surface. I've got so much to learn that I don't know if a lifetime will be enough, so I'm constantly trying to learn new things when I have the time. But even the little that I know definitely helps a lot. Another thing that I have is the so called "musical accumulation". Many people have it - almost every true fan does - that's when you've listened to a lot of music over the years and know a particular style inside and out - then, even if you're not a musician, you have a pretty good idea what a "really good song" in that style sounds like. That definitely helps a lot too. :) What I don't have is time. Otherwise there would be 300 songs in that channel by now. Ha-ha. But we'll get there little by little. Greetings.
The "H.AI.R metal" playlist from my channel (second from top to bottom in the home tab) has mostly soft rock in it. Maybe not just like those two bands but give these two songs a listen. 1. ruclips.net/video/PkFoxkXyknc/видео.html 2. ruclips.net/video/Tb89-4EFod8/видео.html As for your question, I probably could if I tried, but I usually just generate melodic rock / hard rock / hair metal without trying to sound like a particular band.
Dumb question but are the lyrics completely AI generated or partially? Hard to put my finger on it but to my ears there seems to be a unique phrasing that is not present in human lyric writing and singing. To my knowledge, the only other times I've heard anything close is on the later Ronnie James Dio solo music and maybe the later Heaven and Hell (Black Sabbath) album before Dio passed away. Hard to describe what I am talking about. Edit - I really think its good BTW
Sometimes I use AI in the beginning to write something on the topic. Then I pick what I like from what it gives me and re-write the lyrics partially or completely depending on what it gave me. Here is what chat gpt gave me in this case and from it I wrote what you hear in the song: Verse 1 I see the clouds on the horizon, drifting slow, But the sun’s still hanging high, a golden glow. I steal a moment, just one more, before the fall, Here in this peace, I’ve escaped it all. Verse 2 Footsteps fade on the shore, but I remain, Chasing these sunsets, where time feels the same. The waves whisper secrets I’ll carry home, But a part of me will never be alone. Pre-Chorus 1 The summer’s ending, I can feel it near, But in these days, I’ve never been more clear. Chorus 1 So let the sun sink slow, one more time, I’ll watch it paint the sky, my favorite sign. I’ll hold these moments close, they’re mine to keep, Until I return, where the waves still sleep. Verse 3 The breeze gets colder, but it’s sweet somehow, The promise of next year lingers here and now. I close my eyes and breathe the ocean’s sigh, Knowing this is not a last goodbye. Pre-Chorus 2 The summer’s fading, but I still believe, I’ll come back here, with every memory. Chorus 2 So let the sun sink slow, one more time, I’ll watch it paint the sky, my favorite sign. I’ll hold these moments close, they’re mine to keep, Until I return, where the waves still sleep. Bridge And when the world pulls me away from here, I’ll find my way back, year after year. With the ones I love, beneath this sky, We’ll stand in awe, just you and I.

Van Halen meets Lou Gramm.. loving it🤘🏼🔥
great job with the backing vocals, these songs are much better when there is lead, rhythm and bass guitar. Great song.

Wow, thank you so much! I really, really appreciate that.
Very impressive AOR song! I really liked the layered vocals, the dual guitars, and the dramatic shift in the bridge.
Thanks so much.
increíble!!!

Love this song. Quick question, does it help being a guitarist yourself when you're creating these songs?
