- Hey everyone back with Trailmakers! Today we are trying out BattleBot evolution by survival of the fittest! With the addition of mods to Trailmakers we have spawned a custom arena filled with traps and will compete to see who can make the best BattleBot evolution!

You should do it where you don’t repaint the cars when you get them, so as time goes on you can see the patchwork of different people’s vehicles built on top of each other.

I think segmenting your piston prongs is a good idea. Look at 24:40 - you lose the whole thing in a single crash anyway, so splitting it up would be better since more stuff doesn't prevent damage, while damage can't spread through empty space. Look at Scrapman's bar prongs at 8:30.
Edit: looking at 25:10, I think you need to segment stuff away from your seat, too. So that it's touching as little as possible
I've always thought that having empty space was a good idea. It's why the battlebus did so well.
I love that Kosmo doesn’t even make an op build Scrapman and Kan just die before he can get to them half the time
Blocks transfer forces through it to the weakest point, i.e. the seat. If you instead put gaps around the seat and use points that you want to break it will last longer. Even if there are randomly placed blocks in another direction, the forces could converge at another place like what happens with the other's builds.
And heavy blocks resist force really well i suppose because Kosmo's car weight was really carrying the 2nd round with the hugger
how about a devolution. start with all the power cores then with each round remove some. would like to see this in the centrifuge.
I suggest you just become a moving ramp. It is a proven strategy in the early days of Battlebots.
moral of the video: dont focus on whats wrong by deleting, focus on what strong and improve. evolve

How about person who won can choose 1 thing what needs to keep for next build? Like when Moonbo had that hugging machine in old videos then he could make you make different hugging machines what kinda evolves differently. if Scrapman wins next round he can scrap Moonbos hugging thingy and decide something of his own or not to do if he don't want?

Kosmo had the hugger. Moonbo doesn't play trailmakers.
You shouldn't repaint the vehicles so at the end yoh can see who did what in the winning vehicle.
Also maybe not being able to remove parts could be an intrasting rule

for the next challange do walking robot evolution
on the pistons turn the speed to -100 instead of 100 because -100 is for some reason alot faster and can cause destruction

On the next evolution you guys should not change the paint and at the end you could see who won the most rounds.

A strategy for battle bots is to make the sides and back a ramp with a flipper in the front. Armor the top and put spikes.

An amaaaaazimg idea would be to make a boost powered ramp car to make them go up and crash down for the dub
Next time you do something like this you should build that mini helicopter and pute pokers on the bottom and fly down and poke them

Evolution challenge idea make a transformer vehicle from car to plane to boat to car Power core you decide time limit for first round 5 min then as per your choice the best vehicle will be decided upon control and speed like a time trial type thing custom one

If one is immobile then it should be who ever is actually moving... and by moving full motion... if both are unable to right them selfs or only has one wheel should go down to who became immobile first... to many times restarted or getting smashed by the hammer when they should have been counted out due to not being able to move.
