This happened down the road from me. He was a 16 year old Muslim boy who is brainwashed and a sick individual. He currently still has absolutely zero remorse for his actions. Only one of his fingers were severed, and the rest of them were broken. As an Arabic speaking person, I just want to clarify ONE THING . . .
Many of you will have heard "Salam Aleikom", which means "Peace be with you" . . .
HOWEVER the word "Islam" does NOT mean Peace, it means "Surrender" . . . as in with The Borg (Star Trek) "Resistance is Futile type surrender, and as such, Islam is NOT the Religion of peace, but rather a "Religion" which INSTRUCTS it's faithful that "IT IS OK TO LIE about Islam if the end result is a conversion to Islam, because by lying, you are saving someone's soul" . . . .
To my knowledge NO DEITY ON EARTH EVER said lying is OK . . . AND THEN once the convert studies the Quran and realizes the TRUTH about Islam, if they "Turn their Back on Mohammed" . . . they are to be killed . . . SOUND FAMILIAR?

This happened down the road from me. He was a 16 year old Muslim boy who is brainwashed and a sick individual. He currently still has absolutely zero remorse for his actions. Only one of his fingers were severed, and the rest of them were broken. Right after the Bishop was stabbed, he placed his hand on the perpetrators head and began praying over him.✝️ In saying all this, I do not appreciate the way the others outside the church carried on in terms of damaging police vehicles and so forth. Thankfully Bishop Mar Mari and the Priest are both okay. I love you my Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ. 🙏✝️

the knife malfunctioned (I suppose it was a switchblade). the man attempted to stab the Bishop but was unable to kill. In turn he cut his own fingers in the attack as the blade bit his own hand- news sites listing the damage to the attackers hand as severe (some in the congregation said he lost 3 fingers) No weapon formed against you shall prosper.

Mar maris first reaction after being stabbed was to pray for the kid which shows his character he is a true man of god
