Love your efficiency!! The bolt is perfect that that.

We totally agree, Mark! It was a high selling point for us with Kaitlin's short work commute. Since the cooler winter months the efficiency now sits between 2.7-2.9 but we still count that as a win!

Thanks for the trip report! I have had frequent frustrations with the MyChevrolet app for my Bolt EUV. They did a big overhaul a few weeks ago and it’s been better, though still not perfect

I agree that the app has been better. After the overhaul like you mentioned my climate controls stopped working in the app, but that has been resolved recently. I was seeing that a quick fix is downloading the MyGMC app since it is the same login, but that did not work for me either. We're planning to do some longer trips in the Bolt EV in 2024 along with a 1-year ownership review! Always love seeing you active in our comment section, Ben!

@@midwest_ev looking forward to it! The Bolt might be just as good as ID.4 for a trip to someplace like the UP of Michigan given most of the charging is 50 kW. I think a visit to Lake Superior would make for an interesting EV journey regardless

Remember "ABC", or "Always Be Charging". When you can find opportunity charging like with that ChargePoint station, it never hurts to top it off. Just don't let it sit at a really high state of charge or fully charged for long periods of time as that can damage the battery in the long run, unless you have an EV with an LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery such as the Tesla Model 3 Rear Wheel Drive, in which case it can be full charged regularly.
That said, hope to see more road trip videos! Should be more interesting when more Tesla Supercharger stations open up for non-Teslas in 2024, and seeing what kind of impact it will have on both Tesla owners along with non-Tesla EV's using them as more DC fast chargers are installed.

We are excited to try the Tesla Supercharger stations with the Bolt EV in the next year! As of today, we still have not DCFC with the Bolt.
