    My full respect!
    I've watched a dozen of YT playlists on Special Relativity, including those by Susskind, Pervez Hoodbhoy, Richard Epp, Ron Reifenberger, Michel van Biezen, David Paganin, Physicist Michael, and many others videos... except the first two, none of them come close to this course in terms of clarity and depth. Thumbs Up! Prof. Shiva Prasad!

    professor - if the light going to mirror A and mirror B are going both directions through the silvered mirror, then those are average measurements. There is NO WAY the 2 beams of light will be out of phase, even though the aether speeds up or slows down, the beam of light in one direction.. Michaelson morley was always measuring the average speed of light, therefore, the 2 beams of light will always be in phase. DRB

    have a doubt .please answer me as soon as possible.when the light is released from source in the michelson morley experiment ,light should have the velocity of "c+v" not "c" because we took earth to be in ether medium.where "v" to be the velocity of the earth.

    • @shiva1052
      @shiva1052 6 лет назад

      Please refer to the time in video where you have doubt. In Ether concept, the speed of light is 'c' only in Ether medium.

    in (48:23) how we get this equation of fringe shift ?

    • @Vishal-js4yq
      @Vishal-js4yq Год назад

      Divide the equation by T. Velocity = (distance/Time). Here, wavelength is the distance of wave and 1/T is your frequency. Hence C=F(lamda). F=C/Lamda

    So they Ether is real- the earth does not move- we are geocentric and Flat. Why were we not taught this in school?

    • @littletraveller5428
      @littletraveller5428 5 лет назад

      Dyan Disraeli maybe it doesn’t move maybe it just wasn’t detected but it didn’t mean anything was proven about the shape of the earth. Unless I’m totally mistaken, I’m a total lay person when it comes to sciences.
