As someone who has a movie-accurate Kylo costume, I can confirm- the helmet obscures your visibility quite a lot and when combined with how long the robe is, it doesn't make fighting/dynamic moves easy. Not to mention it gets hot in it as hell. That outfit was made for ice planets only.
Same here man! Those layers kill you! I end up needing to take the helmet off cause of how much I start sweating. Totally worth it though, love my costume! Especially when you get to see people’s reactions when you walk up in it haha

I see Adam Driver, I WATCH. Srsly, those were no longer Star Wars movies for me since he appeared in them. They were movies about a serious case of way too little of Adam Driver being shown shirtless and shouting orders with his magnificently deep commanding voice.

From the title, I thought it was going to be Adam Driver talking about how dumb the Kylo Ren costume was. That's what I clicked for. Kylo Ren creating a suit that looks like a spinoff of Vader's costume (which Vader required in order to keep breathing and functioning) is like a teen thinking that their crippled uncle's prosthetic arm looks cool and making a cybernetic-looking arm device to mimic it. And then those red lines where the helmet was fused back together? Ridiculous. Honestly, when I first saw him in the film, I thought, "okay so this is supposed to be their new Vader? Meh. Maybe. Let's see how he does." And then my opinion kept getting worse as I saw how he seemed to be channeling Luke Skywalker in A New Hope--specifically the whole whiny teenage angst angle--only without Luke's innocent eagerness, earnestness and general likeability. I don't even really blame Adam (or any of the other actors). This seems to be what the show runners wanted.

Kylo Ren aka bootleg Darth Vader
From the title, I thought it was going to be Adam Driver talking about how dumb the Kylo Ren costume was. That's what I clicked for.
Kylo Ren creating a suit that looks like a spinoff of Vader's costume (which Vader required in order to keep breathing and functioning) is like a teen thinking that their crippled uncle's prosthetic arm looks cool and making a cybernetic-looking arm device to mimic it. And then those red lines where the helmet was fused back together? Ridiculous.
Honestly, when I first saw him in the film, I thought, "okay so this is supposed to be their new Vader? Meh. Maybe. Let's see how he does." And then my opinion kept getting worse as I saw how he seemed to be channeling Luke Skywalker in A New Hope--specifically the whole whiny teenage angst angle--only without Luke's innocent eagerness, earnestness and general likeability.
I don't even really blame Adam (or any of the other actors). This seems to be what the show runners wanted.
What i don't kylo ren, he just too similar with darth vader, not just the costume or helmet, but his obsession too. They should borrow from other sith lords, not just darth revan but also darth nihilius or darth bane

Costume was terrible, movie was terrible, etc., etc.
He was some TRASH in Star Wars. Those last few movies were horrible.
