it's mostly dependent on the company you're with. If you're doing engineering consulting, you can be travelling to a new mine every 6-12 months. If you're with an international company, you may be rotating to a new mine every 1-2 years, depending if they have a rotational program.

australia is probably better overall, but if you move to remote areas in canada, it could be competitive as well
