I reflect on this video from time to time. It’s difficult for me to review, time softens the pain, but it never goes away. KC had a heart of gold. Society with the impact of social media and peer pressure had a negative effect on her, she struggled and overcame so much in her life. She wasn’t making good decisions under the influence; she died as a result. A huge piece of me died with her. With the assistance of the sharing network she passed in peace surrounded by love and prayers of family and friends. Please know, somethings sometimes happen beyond our control. Do not judge, but learn from these experiences, different point of views and stories should educate us, not leave us critical of others experiences. It took a lot of energy and triggering pain to document these stories.

“Always pray to have eyes that see the best in people, A heart that forgives the worst, A mind that forgets the bad, And a soul that never looses FAITH in GOD”. Life teaches us lessons, learn from the mistakes of others, so that you yourselves don’t have to experience them personally. Faith, Love and Beauty are gifts from GOD we all need to embrace in this world. Continue to pray for ourselves and others and support and listen to your children, family and friends. Hold them close to your soul and your hearts. Do not judge others, ‘ least yourself be judged first, as no one is beyond reproach. If you find yourself pointing fingers do it on front of a mirror and point your finger at yourself. Humble yourself and open your heart, especially to the pain and suffering of others. Who’ve died and who live with the trauma. Forgive yourselves for your own moments of weakness, then send LOVE out to the universe, harsh words have no place in other people’s lives who survived these and other’s stories. Have a heart please. May you all be safe and well. Thank you Jackie may you continue to do good works.

Back in the 70s, when I first got my driver license and a nice, fast 68 Mustang GT, and "I DO HOW I HATE TO ADMIT THIS", but I was young and stupid. I was drinking and experimenting with the drugs of the time and I drove my car several times impaired. I was blessed to have God as my co-pilot and my guardian Angel with me each time. Absolute "PURE LUCK". I never crashed or caused a crash, or ever hurt anyone, but lost several friends later due to alcohol or dope related accidents. It opened my eyes and brain widely through the pain and grief. I gave up all alcohol and dope from that point on. Still to this day I have never figured out how or why drugs or alcohol can make us feel like we are invincible and know it all. When we get behind the wheel, we should take on the responsibility of an airline pilot to protect the safety of his passengers, as we should do our part to protect the safety of all other drivers. NO alcohol, NO dope, NO texting or other distractions, focus on your driving!!! Bottom line is "JUST DON'T DO IT"!!! RIP Casey...🥰😥

Back in Jr high school I lost my best friend to a drunk driving accident, he was a passenger in a toyota truck that accidentally crowded another car outof their lane! In turn the drunk driver chased them down and ran them off the road into a light pole! The truck rolled on top of my friend as he was ejected out the passenger door and hung up by his seatbelt at the waist then flung him thirty yards into a field! He was a special kind of person well known and loved by all of us in the neighborhood. Tragedy took my friend's life and alcohol was the key factor that fateful night! To this day everytime I pass the intersection where he was killed it haunts me!

You can get smashed at a bar or bar hop all day if you want then get unlimited access of more alcohol at convenience stores . Imagine if it were opioids that were this easy to get without buying illegally. Same difference. Just one is monitored and one isn't. Both impair and are addicting.

Life is short and is precious, guard yourself and your circle of people we need to keep each other safe. Know that when “we” leave this world it is our time to go. Fill the void of loss with love and send it to our loved ones. Tragedy helps our souls grow, come through it with peace and love in your heart. Come to terms with it, share the story and help the next one in line. You can make a difference and perhaps prevent another situation like this . Sending love through to universe to your heart♥️

It's tragedies like this that make me so glad that my husband and I began a safe ride service where we drive people in their own vehicles home when they have been drinking. I got the idea from my son, who was doing it where he lives and I thought it was the most fantastic idea, and it's one that I hope will spread everywhere.
We don't do it for the money, which everyone knows because we often are told we don't charge enough (they often tip close to, if not the same amount as our fee, so we make decent money doing it), but for us it isn't about the money, it's about everyone getting home safely.
It's so easy to do and it's so incredibly rewarding.
We've been doing it for over 3 years and it's been such a huge success, we even get booked for birthdays, weddings, etc.
If anyone reads this, please consider doing it. I don't know what is required everywhere, but for us where we are (Alberta, Canada) all we need is a valid driver's license, a vehicle that is registered and insured, and a partner with a valid driver's license to either drive the customer home, or the chase vehicle (the one you and your partner are in).
You can set your own prices, and buy a square for debit and credit cards.
For all those who have lost their lives, and everyone who has been devastated by drunk driving, this is a wonderful way to honor them.

J make sure when you do drink your with people who love and care about you. If you do that then the people around you would never let you get behind the wheel if your trying to drink and drive. I’m 34, growing up as a teenager I had personally gotten in arguments with friends who were out of their minds drunk trying to get their keys so they could drive. I would just take their keys when they weren’t looking and tell them I’d help them try and find where they lost their keys. They were so drunk they didn’t even question it. Then after “looking” for the keys I’d tell them to just sleep here and we will find the keys in the morning when it’s light outside . 😊 you do whatever you gotta do for your friends. And as upset as they might be in the moment when u don’t allow them to get behind the wheel, they will thank you later trust me!

It may be worthwhile to train new drivers the psychological experience if a worst case scenario; teach when and how to "over -correctt" to maintain as much control as you can. Swerving is instinctive but it can trained out.
    Hit the deer, don't swerve.
Hydroplane, ease up on the gas.
Inevitably losing control, go with your car in the same direction instead of jerking the steering wheel on the opposite direction.
Like a plane, the safest way through turbulence is going through it.
If your car is freaking TF out, ease up on the gas

22% of americans are minors. So if only 15% of the deaths in drunken car crashes are minors, that's actually below the national average. Unless the implication is that those people are driving. Then it gets alarming.

Recreational weed should be legal for all the states, it's safer than alcahol, this is truly sad and my daughter almost lost her best friend very young in a DUI accident where her aunt and aunts boyfriend who was driving died in the front seats, God bless everyone, and stay safe ✌️

Grace is a beautiful soul, she was traumatized by the loss of her best friend. If she needs to say like to express herself in a difficult situation then let it be. She stood up and participated in this video in effort to share her story and the impact of this great loss of life, to help prevent possibly another accident to help the next one in line. She showed courage and compassion and is devastated by losing her friend. This is a serious situation, so entreat it with some kindness and compassion please.
