Martin was one of the dopest shows of all time. It was just pure joy.

In the 90's you couldn't touch that trifecta of Martin, Living Single and New York Undercover on Fox Thursday nights! It was legendary! Martin is still one of the all time funniest sitcoms ever made along with Sanford and Son, Fresh Prince, Living Single, Married... with Children, Golden Girls, Andy Griffith etc.

This reunion deserved more and better production. The lighting, the audio, the lack of monitors to add the images of their younger selves so a phone being pulled out wouldn’t be necessary. This show is and was ICONIC just like fresh prince. It’s a 1of1 the network should’ve treated similarly how the fresh prince was treated. It’s the standard.

I don't about being bi-polar lol but I think it's moreso that he has been through a lot in his career. He's had a lot of negative so he's probably more calm now and being humble.
I truly think he may have had some kind of small stroke possibly several years ago. I hope I'm wrong but it seems like it with his face when he speaks.
Of course😂 Hes older more mature. Plus he had a stroke that almost killed him back in the day... hasnt really been the same since. Its cool though😂

I remember a time about 20 YEARS AGO when the Martin show wasn't picked up by any local network and we was all watching the old reruns recorded to VHS while getting my haircut at the barber shop. I'm glad that BET and VH1 jumped on it cuz it was solely missed. Rest in Heavenly Peace, Thomas Ford.
yeh i remember in the mid 2000’s when USA had picked up then later Tvone and centric that’s how we always knew this show was Legendary
UPN picked it up after it's run into the late 90s.
Shid I remember watching till the last season iown remember it being on VHS 📼 unless somebody recorded it
the only thing is BET and VH1 edited out all the best parts.. Im glad its on HBO Max now.. All the original episodes and all the parts are played on the HBO Max version. The ORIGINAL airings !!! So many pieces you forgot about.. its like watching it all over again for the first time lol

I loved this reunion. It was so great to see these guys together again. My only complaint is it should've been longer because they didn't mention Jon Gries or Garrett Morris who played Shawn & Stan. They also never mentioned Ms. Jeri. I know Stan and Shawn weren't there for the whole series, but they were important characters to the show. It would've been nice to give them a shout out. Still a fantastic reunion though!!
Yes it was a great reunion... but they definitely should've mentioned Ms. Jeri. Some iconic scenes between her and Martin were worth mentioning!
I haven’t watched it yet, but that really sucks… I was expecting them to show some of their memorable sets such as the WZUP radio station with both Jon and Garrett cameos or something… well I still can’t wait to watch to have a full opinion on it…

The reunion is beautiful..it'll bring you tears..Wonderful tribute to Tommy and a few surprises. Martin's energy was back as he was introduced. Fresh Prince did they 30. Martin did they 30. In the other Martin reunion show, they brought back bruh man, nipsey, Varnell hill, hustle man (a short clip) and snoop dog. Martin even did Jerome’s voice to close out the show.
Along with The Simpsons and Married with Children, Martin is definitely the hallmark show of that network. Shame that Fox stands for what it does, but kudos on Martin using them to put what THEY did out into the world and give us 30 years of greatness. It's rare to find a show that indices belly-laughs on multiple re-watches, but this one delivers every time. Halloween episodes, DMV, the shared car, stuck in the blizzard, 'that ain't no puppy' and all the rest!

Tomato-Tomatoe - give the folks props for being a good show. They didn’t give themselves the titles being bestowed on them right now. It’s still in syndication. Our comment section always have to reflect some type of negativity or comparisons. I’ll never understand that. A deserved reunion, missed Tommy and the tribute to him was very emotional. Still watching them.
A) This was hella awkward.
B) It's very sad seeing Martin, a LEGEND, in his condition over these years.
C) Carl Anthony Payne appears to be the healthiest and most still in tact in every aspect.
D) "Married With Children" is the show that blew up FOX in 1987. "Martin" debut in 1992.
E) If they made a reboot, it would fail miserably.
F) I love and continue to watch "Martin" episodes as much as anyone.
G) Most people gonna act like they dont see the same things I see.

Too much behind the scenes drama
Tichina knows something about Tisha campbell that she does not like. Notice every time Tisha talks, Tichina she has this I am going to be quiet face. However, when Martin talks, she joins and supports him throughout the conversation. In addition, if Tisha felt like Martin did her wrong in the past, why did she touch his shoulder at one point during this filming. It is okay to forgive someone who you felt sexually assaulted you. However, it is weird to feel very comfortable around them.

He didn't sexually assaulted her. It was fraudulent lawsuit and accusation. It was fine all the touchy feely stuff going on in the show but when Tisha got married to that fool he didn't like it. But I am happy for this rebirth. The people love Martin Lawrence. He is an extremely creative and funny being.

The elephant in the room wasn't addressed. Martin was an iconic and hilarious show that helped define a generation of entertainment. Then it ended sooner than it should because of sexual harassment claims Tisha Campbell. Martin ended the show and went of to do great things. A few years ago Martin talked about it, calling it all lies. Tisha Campbell replied in a tweet saying the iconic line of her character, "You go boy!" And Martin was the bigger man allowing her to return for the reunion and probably made a huge deal with a streaming service which is a huge payday for all the actors. During the reunion show Tisha was really, really, really being a huge cheerleader for Martin. And Martin was just sitting there like the king he is. Goes to show you, time is your friend when something unjustified happens. Still, the reunion should have touched on it. That was probably the main reason most people watched it in the first place.

And they was already close friends prior to the martin show. So it's like riding a bike once u hash everything out. Friends and family have falling outs and get back together.
