How long ago was this? Are they still bitting in the beginning of November? Are you still do guides?

Yes, they are still going. Last year they feed like this till Christmas, check out this video ruclips.net/video/CyS9s3SrFtk/видео.html. The unusually warm water temps keep them very active. The winter Crappie bite should fire up just after Thanksgiving.
