We initially started this edit as a Lena Luthor edit but as the video progressed it started to be overwhelmed by Kara and Lena so it just transformed into this, so hope you like it anyway!

God I'm so scared. I've figuratively been at the edge of my seat ever since Lena Luthor first made her appearance in the series, because I've known Katie McGrath since her work as Morgana Pendragon in the Merlin series, and she went from good to evil there! So all this time my butthole's pretty much been clenched as I wait for her character to turn evil here too.

@@nainak237 Katie is amazing at playing roles that teeter at the edge of both good and evil, few actors can do that, and even fewer excel at it. It's amazing how great if an actor she is.
And you're right about Lena not having an evil bone in her body haha. It's easy to forget a story's protagonist isn't always correct.

Lena telling kara about helping lex but kara not being able to tell lena her secret shows a major difference between their characters....where lena faces a problem and its consequences head on..kara prefers running from it..as long as she can..even if she knows that the revelation is imminent, she keeps on pushing the situation further..in a way..lena did trust kara more than kara trusted lena..but the distrust was not because of what lena is gonna think it was about..it was not because she is a Luthor and kara is a super..it is because kara knew she is lena's only good friend..and she couldn't let lena lose it, lose her safe place..it is so deep...they care so deeply about each other..that it hurts when they hurt...because they always want to protect each other..

Logically after the events of Supergirl - season three - only Lena Luthor remained as a suitable end-game love interest. Mon-El was Kara's, lead straight love interest. The CW gave themselves no realistic flexibility with him. Meaning they effectively made Kara a lesbian. And Lena also. But now they want to walk it back with a character they introduce in season five. That's not how a series works.
I agree in you, and i feel this movie series, it evolves the two women love each other , whether what kind of love they feel for each other. But i really love the two them will have a happy ending and they're deeply inlove and protect each other.

What are you talking about? Kara did tell Lena just because Lena found out from Lex first (which Lex did out of spite) it doesn't negate the fact that Kara eventually did tell her the truth.

Kara saves her life so many times and Kara has reasons why she couldn't tell her identity.

I know that season 5 will absolutely kill me, but I refuse to let Lena turn bad
I think that's somewhat relative? Is bad whoever is against or a threat to Kara/Supergirl? Because sometimes that's the DEO but the DEO isn't strictly bad. Col. Hayley came across as a bad character in the beginning of season 4 but ultimately it was revealed that she wasn't "bad". I think it's more complex than that I suppose? Like it said in the trailer, Lena is not a villain and she doesn't want to kill Supergirl, she just wants her to understand how it feels. Personally I can't wait.

Billie Eilish is amazing and I love pretty much ALL her songs. I can't really promise a lot more SC related stuff as I'm not really a ship editor. I like to explore outside my comfort zone from time to time which is when I do ship videos. Hello mate, I just wanted to pass by and say kudos on the sound editing. I don't know if you ever wonder if we appreciate all the work you put into that aspect and I just had to say that, yes, we truly admire the effort given in those particular details.
Sure, it may have some flaws, but it's honestly so well done, that they are barely noticeable. It's really impressive. Specially given the fact that there's background music in basically every single Supercorp scene there is -.-" (Great for the episode in itself, not so much for the fanvid editor) It can get really frustrating in terms of the sound editing so yeah... kudos for that.
I am both amazed and inspired by this. Can't wait for the next Supercorp fanvid you come up with :D
I'm really glad you appreciate the sound editing I truly believe sound is the most important aspect of an edit as you can get away with bad quality video but you can't get away with bad sound. I also specialised in post-production sound at University so it's definitely come in very useful for me!
@@ItsATwinThingYT I completely agree with you in that regard, I kinda wish more would see it like you do. Sound tends to be really unappreciated and devalued... A lot of people don't really grasp the importance of sound because they don't take notice of it, so it tends to be brushed aside. Only when it's bad do they become aware of it. It's a little unfair. However, I guess it's one of the things that makes it so special, it's sort of like an underdog, taken for granted but the best of them all. Okay, rant-about-sound over 😅😂
Ah, well, I suppose that makes total sense, your skill and care for it certainly shows in the edit. I took a course once, I don't think there was anything quite like it. Getting to understand and feel sound like that, it's beautiful. I can only imagine what it would be like to specialise in it. I'll be looking forward your next vid 🙂

The Season 5 trailer had me sad. Literally, Kara and Lena had one special relationship Superman and Lex Luthor never did. Lena may have thought Supergirl/Kara hatr her because she's a Luthor, but Kara actually liked Lena as a friend. Season 5 will make me sad when I see Kara and Lena fight.
I personally live for this kind of angst so I'm going to love it, I believe that Lena will come around in the end. Who knows how long it'll take, half a season? A full season? Who knows.
Their relationship is very similar to Lex and Clark in the early seasons of Smallville, just with less girlfriend stealing

There is so much sadness, anger, and pain being shown in this edit. I felt my heart shatter into a million pieces again just like watching the season finale. I just wish Kara told Lena the truth on the jet because that might of make it easier to patch up their friendship. Also, because it would of came from Kara herself not Lex.
I think we all wish she had just told her on the plane but looking forward to the angst really.
