I listened to Robert W Morgan and the Real Don Steele growing up. Thanks to Quentin for reminding us who grew up in the L.A. and Orange County that we had the best radio. Thanks Q for the memories.

Indeed, but I recall Phil Hendrie mentioning him as a radio personality that pulled him into the industry. I just watched Once Upon A Time and heard him in the background as Tarintino does . .

Not me...some of us knew who The Real Don Steele was before anyone knew who Quentin Tarantino was.

Paul Bunch it’s funny. I didn’t actually know who Don Steele was. I heard his voice in once upon a time in Hollywood and it always reminded me of the voice from the guy in Death Race 2000, hilariously enough I looked it up and he plays him in the movie.

These guys were the BEST DJ's ever!!!!! Wolfman Jack, Charlie Tuna, The Real Don Steele w/Tina Delgado, Robert W. Morgan, Rick Dees and the one and only Kemal Amin "Casey" Kasem. NOT these a..holes that are now on the air with all kinds of b...sht and paying the audience to listen them

A lot of cocaine and passion... Then off to Martoni's with Robert W. Morgan.

He was no Jackson Armstrong, but this was pretty cool. I wonder if one of the reasons he did this, because they didn’t have any spots to play at this point and had to keep things going with the shot clock, so they just wasted a few minutes by him rambling. Just a thought

No short clock. It was a signature feature of his show. Every "fractious friday", he did this sign off at the end of his 3-6pm show.
