Mackenyu is an actual swordsman and Taz had to learn how to cook and kick like sanji. Mad respect for all the dedication and work the cast put in
Add in to how they both did their own stunts too
All the casts did most of their stunts themselves. Probably only a few dangerous action scenes using stunt doubles. The scene where Luffy & Nami fell down with the vault was done by the actors themselves.
I really respect the sanji actor but I hope they keep on working on his martial arts skill. It would be really nice if they do high upward kicks and stomping kicks like circular axe kicks.
I thought Taz is black belt in taekwando before becoming Sanji

nah this is so interesting ! The amount of planning the stunts beforehand before they can even start filmng is wild! Haha and even the camera man is doing a stunt for the stunt while sliding down that wooden board. They did absolutely amazing!🔥
the whole cast is perfect. even the villains like buggy, kuro are perf as well. this whole production exceeds the impossible.

Seeing all the leaks, casting and behind the scenes for OP live action has actually made so interested into the world of tv/film making, it all looks difficult but fun to be involved in lol
It's feels great seeing their hardwork, planning and efforts pay off so well in the end result. Hats off to these guys who worked hard to make this a reality.

Having the stunt crew and camera crew rehearse together and as a team is perfect. It also opens up so much from both parties as to how better utilize each parties skills. I know some people (very few) complain about the camera movement. I, for one, respected it so damn much. The work that went into it was so much more amazing than most will even think about. THAT is the key..
the stunts was also amazing, thanks for put 200% into this. the choreography still needs a lil bit tweak for the real actor not the stunt, but everything else was great! love from OP manga and anime fans
People criticizing about few minor flaws here and there about this adaptation need to watch this! Maybe then they'll start respecting it more!

That zoro vs Mr 7 concept was pretty cool
It's really crazy how one piece did so much good effects on the characters. They really fit well and look like the manga/anime and training. Like cooking fighting and acting. I thought this was gonna be bad but this turned out well. And shanks and so much characters were in the movie. This made it fun for me. And them explaining the back story's were really good. And the details on buggy where the body like cut into half something like that. Not only that the baratie building was tough and hard to build. But they did everything perfect and buggys tent and the make up they made the make up realistic as possible and arlongs face and pupils of mihawk. It was my first time watching one piece and I have experienced a lot of details and fun in the movie when I was done with watching the live action version I knew I possibly had to watch the anime. I became a big fan and the movie made my day. The team and cast did so much hardwork that's just in a movie. That they created for us to experience and enjoy. Thats talent they put so much effort to make this movie. I can't believe this. This is such a masterpiece. And i am glad they are making season 2. The stories were amazing. Don't ever give up.

I think they are adding sound effects to scenes in post to exaggerate the grunts & what not. Or just goofing off.
They are testing the scene with added grunts and sounds to have a better idea of what the final edit would look and sound like - this isn't the official recording session, they are testing what it would sound like

Various stunt teams create a fight concept/choreography and the showrunners decide on the one they want, then actors (and stuntmen) practice and rehearse the chosen choreography until it is shot for the show
Different stunt teams will have different ideas so the showrunners can decide what kind of choreography they want

Why do stunt team playing instead of actors? Is it just rehearsal / demonstration or stunt replacement of main character
The stunt team is obviously the experts on the physical fight choreography, so they shoot a demo for the actors AS WELL AS the cameramen to figure out where to shoot, & how to move around the action. Then the actors & the cameramen as well as lighting crew rehearse on it. & they train for weeks/ months. You don't expect actors & cameramen to just learn a complex fight sequence & know where to punch/ kick/ jump/ land/ move around with props being broken, right?

Well, it's an opinion I guess, I much prefer the 2nd over the final version, but it wouldn't look that great at the end, they had to ground the fight a bit more, "nerf it" if you will

The creator was heavily involved in this live action. Any changes had to be approved by him for the live action to even proceed. What do you have to say when Eiichiro Oda was literally the one who OK'd the actress who played Nojiko? He'd probably be more offended that you got turned off the live action over such a minor issue. You'd probably prefer a light-skinned Nojiko (which the anime lightened her skin over time, since she was at least tan with her first appearance).
@@fleur_and_flower he's so involved that he's working on other works in japan, do you really think oda is that involved? the first agreement was "not to deconstruct the characters" and no, oda says nothing about it approving or not he says nothing. A complete disrespect to the anime and manga

This is the worst series in the world, it has no connection at all, and it lacks a lot of important details that they never used. As for the real One Piece, the anime One Piece is just the best, nothing else, and the talk is over.
