I love how Herbert not only keeps you company, but is purring the whole time you are holding him. 😻 BTW, I ruptured my L Achilles tendon doing ballonné *double battu* during _Grande Allegro_ in Class many years ago. Made a full recovery after a surgical repair and it came back stronger than ever.
Hugs and kisses to the kitty! He's such a motor boat!😘😍🥰 Ballonne ballonne tombe always confounded me to no end! I would get so frustrated because my brain couldn't connect with my feet fast enough to get it done. I love the way it looks but I can't do it. I tried for years. I'll try again.
Thank you for this. And thank you for your support last week. I’m sticking with it but I’m glad to help out other students in my old class (tech) and the ballet 4’s as well. It keeps my spirits up for my Wed adult class where I feel like I can go nothing right. One day it will not be so difficult. And with your help I’ll get there 🥰🥰🥰. I wish I lived near you as I’d love to take a class under your guidance.

Herbert is a great purrer!
I am happy to hear that you completely recovered from this serious injury. Best wishes for your continued training!
@@HolisticBallet Thank you, but I “retired” many years ago to take up motorcycle roadracing of all things! I do miss class, though.
@@stephenscharf6293 I assume your motorcycle roadracing benefits from your ballet training.
@@HolisticBallet Yes, of course it did. I think that premise would apply to many sports. Cheers.

Be disciplined with the sequencing of the movement: 5th-brush-jump, and hold the arms and leg side before landing.
Franziska! miss you much. As usual this tutorial is superb. Cheers! Eddie
Good to hear from you, Eddie! I am happy you enjoy this tutorial.

When you help other students you realise how far you have come already.

Maravilloso ! Muy bien explicado ! Me encantan tus vídeos, aprendo mucho !😍💖👍
Thank you so much for this video, it is so well explained and easy to understand with the back view. I always struggled as a beginner adult 😊
Thank you, I am happy to hear that you find this video helpful. Best wishes, Franziska
Love your teaching style ! Thanks 💗
Ah ha! Is this the ballonné sequence from class today (Nov 20th)? I hope so. So beautifully explained.
That's right! Great you found it.
Can ballones also be done in releve instead of jumping. I saw someone else doing revele instead and gave a similar tutorial.
yes, it's a very common movement en pointe too.
