It's not actually for Advent. It is for Candlemas or the Feast of the Presentation. the verse recall's God's promise being REVEALED, since God vowed to Simeon that he would not die unless he has not seen the PROMISE being revealed to HIM which is CHRIST JESUS.

i guess Luke 2:29-32 just doesn't go by your version of the theory of logic then... the story, iirc, is that Simeon, who was an old old man who, it had been foretold, would live to see the Christ child, spoke those words when he finally did come across the Christ child at the Temple. thus "Let your servant go in peace"--he can finally die, the prophecy having been fulfilled.
Actually it does. The Christ child came to the world to serve for the good of mankind too. These servants featured in the video are continuing His work.
