Well, when you are young, you made some childish hobbies that you need to "grow up" out of it to keep with the social norms; no one wants to see an adult applying for jobs or going to college still acting like a toddler... It's all part of growing up. For example, once you start kindergarten you no longer could goof off (Goofball Island) like you did in preschool or daycare, and as you progress elementary school, you naturally are no longer seeking pleasure doing childish activities, as you start doing more "big-kid" activities.
I remember in the theaters when I first saw Goofball Island crumbling and falling, I felt rather concerned for Joy, remembering how in the beginning of the movie she said Goofball Island was her personal favorite . . . I was staring at her on the big screen all shocked and worried. *Yeah, I was a really compassionate and insightful kid that day (and still am).*
No goofball island is the scariest that’s kind of the reason why I don’t watch this movie anymore. If goofball island was not in the movie I would watch it.
