OMG KEVIN I GOT 2ROOT17!! but like I didn't have a whole method so I lost alot of marks for method,what I did was I drew the graph and plotted the points and found out (2;4) was closest to (10;2) so rhen I did my distance formula between them and got 2 root 17. That took me 3 lines only for 8 marks. So least I'll get is 2 marks but wow 😭😭

Would they take this question out if the whole country didn't do well in it because someone told me that when they moderate and find everyone didn't do well in a question they sometimes take it out and just adjust the marks accordingly ?
How many marks do you think I got if I used the distance formula and derived it without squaring first? I made the derivative equal to zero, but I know my final answer was wrong because I didn't get 8.25
@@jhfddddddhhbnn I just went through past papers making sure I understand every little detail from each topic. On Thursday I happened to come across the 2017 November question and that helped me know what to do when I came across question 9 from yesterday's paper.

That is true. Your final mark must not be less than 15% or 25% (between the two) of your sba mark. It must be greater than..otherwise, only your raw final marks will be considered.
@@kamogelomolepo4285 that's very unfair I know it's to determine if your school's assessment is too low of a standard but it's still possible you worked extra hard for the final causing a big deviation
@@suhailraja7797 true, the golden rule is that your final mark must be more than your sba mark even if it’s by a big gap it doesn’t matter,as long as it’s more than. Then it means you’ve improved. But if it’s less that the sba mark, it will be disqualified. Reason for this is because they believe that if it is less than your sba, it means that your teachers helped you score higher marks in your trial examinations(since they’re the ones marking the scripts)
get second derivative then set second derivative equal 0 and x = - 1 solve for a then use the second derivative equation as an equality you should arrive at x > - 1
