Thanks for the shout out!! Crushed the sheep in this one. Might not have gotten your PB but 16” is what is leading our Sheepshead bounty this month so you’d be right there if not in the lead. 😂 Great videos keep it up. Thanks again we really appreciate it!!
Love to hear that! 😂 I’ll be fishing up in Tally at the end of the month looking for a 20”+ sheep so there’s still hope for the PB before New Years. And no problem guys!
You were up for the challenge, keeping the line tight. Could’ve used the livewell to keep the 13 inchers till you get the bigger one. 🤙🏼 keep it up bud!
I'll be fishing for sheeps in PCB this weekend. I hope they are as hungry here as they are there. I'll know in a few days. Thanks for sharing! That was a fun watch.
I wonder if new pylons would hold fish, or maybe they don't have enough oysters etc. as of yet...do attract them. I think the pylons have been in the water for several months now. 🙂
In this vid, I used a 13 Fishing AL13 2.0 reel with 10lb braid on a 13 Fishing Fate +S 7' 10" medium rod. The rig was 3' of 20lb fluoro leader with a split shot above a size 1 live bait hook
Hello, I am from Algeria and I would love to watch your channel, but please use Arabic translation so that you have Arab viewers and subscribers. Take my advice and you will see.
Bunch of dinks for real if you knew anything about sheepshead you’d leave all those clean water fish alone and fish the river canals where the full grown ones live.
That was the game plan, but I could only fish 2 hours each day and it happened to be during a very low tide both days so I couldn’t get into the canals I wanted to hit. Maybe next time

Best time of the year for Sheepshead. Fiddler Crabs are liquid gold rn.
It's the go-to method to catch fish for dinner!
Those little convicts are so fun to catch..they put up a good fight
Nice job on the sheepshead!
When you goto do dinner, how bout a catch - n- cook vid? Maybe show different ways of cooking and serving?
I'm boring when it comes to cooking fish 😂 it's either a blackened sandwich, fried nuggets, or pan seared

Enjoyed the video! Good action with the sheeps. Thanks for sharing!🎣❤️
Thanks for watching!
Mud crabs catch the monster sheep. We live close to you(in Dunedin) and usually catch tanks on medium muds.
I'll have to go catch some to try them out soon!

@@SeeYaDude I went trout fishing years ago and was used to bass fishing. Sent a poor little rainbow sailing like a missile, on accident.
omg dude we live in same neighborhood, lmao! Hope to see you around buy you a beer or two.
If you want your PB find some mud crabs… I am not exaggerating when I say they are the premium bait for big sheeps
I've never tried mud crabs before, but I've heard they're the best
what set up do you use in this trip? merry Christmas from Philippines..
My big brother and I went Simmons Park to catch sheepshead but we use shrimp and crabs and I was close to get a sheepshead
waaww sangat indah sekali tarikan ikan yah..
love the video! what kind of boat you got?
What causeway is that ik your in Clearwater or dunedin somewhere

I've found that the older pylons with more oyster and barnacle growth typically have more sheepshead on them
I’m in your area and my pb is 23inches using barnacles as bait
I've never tried using barnacles as bait, might have to try that soon
What is the setup again? I am trying to get into Sheepshead fishing.
In this vid, I used a 13 Fishing AL13 2.0 reel with 10lb braid on a 13 Fishing Fate +S 7' 10" medium rod. The rig was 3' of 20lb fluoro leader with a split shot above a size 1 live bait hook
Heyyy you rocking the Aftco gamma ray pants? Aftco is all I wear when I fish!!
I’ve been rocking them for years now and they’re my go-to pants for fishing
@SeeYaDude excellent man!! Yes, me as well. I love their fishing gear!!
Any bycatch, or are sheepshead the only thing eating fiddler crabs?
I did not get any bycatch in this video, but I have caught redfish, black drum, and mangrove snapper on fiddler crabs before
